Part 3: Wang Yibo's Past

Zhan was wondering how to help this ghost. Suddenly an idea clicked in his mind.

Zhan thought, "why not I chant the spell my grandma used to teach me in my childhood".

Flashback :

Little Xiao Zhan was repeating a spell after his Grandma.

After the spell finished the grandma smiled.

Little Xiao Zhan asked, "Grandma! Why you revise this spell every night? And why I must learn this spell by heart? '

Grandma caressed little Zhan's chubby cheeks and said," My child! One day you'll know. Just remember not to forget it".

Little Zhan nodded in understanding.

Flashback ends.

Zhan closed his eyes, he held his necklace in his palm and started chanting the spell.

Spell: ' with the will of God, let the whips cease, let the light engulf the darkness, let the special one help the soul who had spent his life in darkness and now is repenting, let the punishment cease. Let the pain ease'.

As soon as Xiao Zhan ended the spell, the entire room got filled with an eye blinding light. Xiao Zhan covered his eyes.

The light was still lingering in the room, it wasn't stopping.

Zhan was still covering his eyes, accidentally his white bracelet touched his necklace and a flash occurred.

Zhan slowly opened his eyes. He looked around. There was white smoke all over the place. Nothing could be seen.

Zhan wondered, "Whats this place? Is this heaven? Did I just died?"

Suddenly Zhan heard some voices chanting in the air saying:

"The chosen one. You're the special person. You have to fulfill your job before time. Take decision as soon as possible. Help him... Help him... Help him".

Zhan shut his ears with his both hands as the voices were echoing again and again in Zhan's mind.

Zhan shouted and then opened his eyes. He was breathing heavily. He looked around and saw that he was in the same dark room.

His eyes fell on the ghost who was lying on the ground. The room was no more filled with dark smoke. There was no chains, no purple whip.

Zhan hurried towards Wang Yibo. Yibo's eyes were closed. The whip marks on Yibo's back were healing slowly.

Zhan was confused. His mind was blank. So much happened. He couldn't digest all these.

Zhan sat beside Yibo like a statue. He wasn't moving, he was thinking of the unusual things that he just went through.

He came out of his thoughts when he noticed Yibo moving.

Yibo opened his eyes, he was shocked to see Zhan beside him.

Yibo was shocked as his punishment ended too soon. Also what's this human doing here? No matter how much Yibo shouts in pain, no outsider can hear his voice even if they are inside the house. But this human did heard. It means....he is that special person. Yibo was now confirmed that this human is that special person that person in white talked about 100 years ago.

Yibo was also shocked that he got half of the punishment. From the past 100 years, he has been whipped 100 times but now.....he only got 50 whips. This human helped him. But....how did this human helped him?
