He was a man who had never known defeat. He liked to think it was due to his fighting skills, wits, and maybe a little bit of luck. Or maybe it was always pure luck that he always found a way to come out alive from any kind of situation inspite of insurmountable odds. He was attacked by several hitmen, sent to kill him by the Comorra family. He had killed two of the major members of that family---- Gianna D'Antonio and her  brother Santino D'Antonio. Compared to the people he had fought and killed, defeating this crew was exceptionally challenging.

So he lay in the rain, broken, beaten up, and left for dead. He didn't have any strength to get up and make his way to the New York Continental Hotel. It felt like all his bones had been broken. He was hunted and led to an unexplored part of the New York city. Numerous chinese restaurants, and shops lined the locality. He was cold and in pain. His heart thudded weakly against his rib cage... He closed his eyes and embraced the welcoming hands of darkness.

{"John... John, wake up!" He hears a very familiar voice calling his name. His eyes flutters and opens. Helen was lying beside him, running your hands through his silky black hair. "I missed you so much..." He whispers as you pulls him in a slow kiss. There was a golden glow all around them and he thought it is the most perfect morning he has ever heard. He held your close to you.

"Am I dead? Is it time for me to come home to you?" He asked. Helen just smiles and plants a kiss on his forehead. "John, you are okay... you just need to wake up!" John feels that he is fading fast. Everything is slowly disappearing... The last thing that he heard was his long dead wife's voice saying, "I will always be with you..."}

John Wick's eyes fluttered open and he sat up. Everything was hazy at first, but soon everything became clearer. A face came into focus. He got startled and tried to get up, but he was held down. "Hi, you are safe. This is a safe place," you said. He felt this inexplicable calmness settle over him and he struggled to maintain his train of thoughts. "Who are you?" He asked your. "I am Amy. I found you lying out front in the rain. You were in a very bad shape." You said in a very soothing voice. Your strong Chinese accent didn't escape the dazed assassin's notice.

"Where am I?"

"You are in a centre for alternative healing and medicine."

"Alternative healing and medicine?"

"Acupuncture? Massage? Reiki?"

"Right".

"You need to eat in order to heal and gain your strength. I will be right back. Please stay here."

You left him there and went inside. He quickly got up. He felt completely okay. He moved around his arms, and tested his legs. Everything seemed fine and working perfectly. In addition to that, there was no pain or discomfort in his body. He was pretty sure that he had multiple broken bones in his body. He held his hands in front of his eyes and he almost had a cardiac arrest. His right hand was missing a ring finger for certain reasons, as far as he was aware. But now, it seemed that he had regenerated his ring finger somehow. It didn't make any sense. He also felt incredibly better than before.

He found a mirror and checked his reflection. His face was supposed to be littered with cuts, and bruises. He was pretty sure that his bottom lip was split and bleeding. What was going on? There was something very strange about that woman, he thought. He decided not to leave without knowing the whole truth. He quickly laid down on the bed as he heard you coming towards his room. "How are you feeling?" You asked in a soft and melodious voice. "Pretty good, considering my ring finger just grew back." John answered in a deadpan voice. You stopped in your tracks and scrutinized him.

"Ok, I should have told you before, Mr.Wick, I have certain skills, abilities if you will, that help me to heal people." You said, taking a seat on a chair beside his bed. "What?" He asked, still unable to process what you told him. "In simple terms, I am a psychic." You explained. "I have to go... now!" He said and tried to get off the bed. You held him down with surprising strength. "I am not sure if that's a good idea. I have brought wonton soup with egg noodles for you. You must try them." "I don't want to hurt you.." He whispered, making your chuckle. You gently tapped his forehead with your finger and he fell asleep immediately. You gently brushed away his bangs and kissed him on his forehead.

"Sweet dreams, John Wick," You said, watching him sleeping peacefully.
