I groan as my eyes open slowly, picking up my phone and answering the phone from my friend. "Huh..? Kat? Why are you calling at-" I trail of checking the time- "8am?.." I speak with a raspy voice.
"Me, you and Indie are going out to a club, you haven't hung out with us since the death of your mother so we're going, like it or not, you NEED, to get over it. It's been almost 10 months" She says.
"Fine what club and when?" I ask, waking up slowly. "I don't know Indie is picking us up so we will see, get dressed in something sexy~" she purrs. "Okay bye love you" I say as a joke.

"You look hot" Indie smiles. "Thanks so do you two!!" I cheer. We arrive at a club named "Dim Lantern", it lived up to its name being a dimly lit, club. It was quite beautiful despite its dark background.
"It's so cute in here!!" Kat says, being a sucker for 'aesthetically pleasing' decor.
"Agreed" indie smiles at her lover.
"Ok love birds get a room." I laugh.
We take our seats and order drinks. I must admit it was nice to get out and try and forget about the death or a loved one.
All off a sudden there were screams a few tables down. "What the fuck are those?" Kat looks dumbfounded. I look over and see demon-like figures. "What-" I say confused until I see them clearly. "That one's looking at us funny-" Indie said seeing the taller demon looking at our table.
Kat just laughs as it stares, she was clearly drunk. "HAHA- Look at them they are so cute-" she says loudly attracting attention to us.
