"Lena! Lena! Come on! We have to hurry!"
"W-what? Where are we going? Who are you?"
"Come on now, we haven't much time,"
The strange figure in her bedroom grabbed onto her wrist, its grip ice cold.
It began to yank her out of bed, expecting her to get up and go along with it.
"Stop it! Who are you?," Lena pleaded, "Mom! Mom! Help me!"
"Shhhhh....what are you doing?!" it said, covering her mouth with its cold hand. It sounded like a girl.
"Mffmmhrrff-MMMMFFRM" Lena desperately tried to cry for help but all that came out was a muffled, incoherent mumble.
"Isn't this what you want? To find out who you truly are?" The feminine sounding creature asked.
"Wha-" before Lena could finish, everything went black.
-
"Lena! Lena why are you screaming? Wake up!" Lena's mom yelled, worry sounding in her every word.
"Mom...mom, I'm awake," Lena coughed, her voice dry and cracked.
She noticed she was covered in sweat and her face was wet with tears.
"Why were you screaming? Did you have a nightmare?" Lena's mom questioned as she sat down next to her and cupped her face with her hands.
"Yeah, I guess I did..." Lena remembered the horrible dream she had just experienced.
"Are you gonna be okay?"
"Yeah mom I'm fine, thanks for coming and checking on me. Now go back to sleep, you need it," Lena gestured for her mom to leave.
"Okay okay, good night,"
"Night mom"

Now, Lena was left with just her thoughts for company.
"What did that mean?" She thought out loud.
Lena dismissed it as just another weird nightmare, and reached to switch off her lamp, but as she looked at her arm as it extended out in front of her, she went as white as a sheet.

Her wrist was dotted with faint, fingertip shaped bruises.
