A bed of golden flowers, light that showed from the sky, and tranquility of silence. It was a beautiful scene. Peaceful...and qui-

"AHHHH-" A scream rang out, destroying the silence that used to be there. Two boys fall down into the flower bed, petals scattering among the air. Claus lets out a groan, rubbing his neck as he turns to Kire. Kire just silently sits up, looking around with big eyes. "You okay?"

"...Where are we?" Kire lets out, practically ignoring his question. Claus huffs, quickly standing up and looking around himself.

"Mmm...no clue." Claus pulls Kire up by his hand. Kire takes a moment, staring Claus in the eyes. "What's wrong?"

"...My power feels weakened here. It's hard to connect to you." He states, before starting to walk in the direction of the next room. Claus quickly follows after him, grabbing his wrist to stop him in his tracks.

"Hey wait- Don't just go off on your own. We don't even know where we are!" Kire simply stares toward the door.

"We'll be fine, our powers are weak, but we're not mortal." Kire waved dismissively, continuing to walk, but holds onto Claus's hand as he did.

"Still..." Claus just sighs as he holds onto Kire's hand, muttering to himself as he looks down. As they enter the room, a golden flower pops out of the grass, a big smile on its face.

"Howdy-" It starts, but then it's eyes widen seeing the twins. Claus raises an eyebrow.

"...I'm not high or anything, right?" Claus turns to Kire, who shakes his head.

"No, I'm seeing it too, unfortunately." Kire crosses his arms, as the flower tilts his head.

"Huh? Where's...?" He starts, making Kire raise an eyebrow as well.

"Not who you were expecting?" The flower shakes his head, putting a leaf to it's face.

"Oh no! There's never been two at once before! This will be quite... interesting." A grin comes to it's face. "You two are new here, ain't ya? Don't worry, I can show you both the ropes. Or the vines, in this case." Kire visibly winces in pain.

"Hehe nice." Claus places his hands in his pockets. Suddenly everything turns black and white, as as Claus looks up in surprise, before checking his hands.

"Kire, did we just lose our N-word privilege-"

"...Claus, please." Kire says as he looks around, before his eyes land on the flower in front him. He stares for a moment, the smile still on the flowers face. "What's your name?"

"Oh my, didn't I introduce myself? I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower! I'll be helping you learn the ways of the underground." He then brings out a few white pellets, floating behind him. "Down here, we share LV. That short for LOVE!" The little dots then float in front of the two of them. "Go ahead an touch 'em! They're little...'Friendliness pellets.'" Flowey's grin widens, his eyes squinting a little as he watches their expressions. Kire tilts his head, staring curiously at the dots. Meanwhile, Claus looks at them suspiciously, his eyes glaring a little. He watches Kire reach out slowly, his fingertips inches away from the pellet. Claus then pushes Kire's arm away quickly, stepping between Kire and Flowey, grabbing it instead. He hisses in pain, feeling as though he's been zapped with electricity. He lets go on reflex, holding his hand.

"What the hell was that?!" Claus lets out, as Kire stares for a moment, his eyes looking toward the flower who had a sinister smile on his face.

"You idiot. In this world, it's kill or be killed." He summons a full sphere of pellets. "Now die." Claus pulls Kire behind him, growling a bit as he gets in a defensive stance. Kire thinks for a moment, looking down, before running straight into the sphere. Both Claus and Flowey look in shock as he does, as Kire braces himself for the impact and breaks through, though with a lot of pain. Flowey looks confused, before looking down and noticing it.

"Huh? Th-That's impossible! No human can have infi-" He starts, but is then blasted away. Claus quickly follows after Kire, pulling his arm.

"Are you okay?! What the hell were you thinking?!" Claus let's out, as Kire looks over and points to the new entity in the room. Claus turns, finally noticing the big goat woman in front of them. "...Huh-" She looks in shock at the twins, before a smile comes to her face.

"Greetings, my children, my name is Toriel, the caretaker of the Ruins." Toriel says, "I've never seen two humans at once...let alone twins!" She smiles softly at the two. Kire stands up straighter than before, brushing his shoulder off and putting a hand out to shake. Claus eyes his hand in slight concern. However, Toriel returns Kire with a gentle hand shake.

"Kire." Is all he says.

"Your name is Kire?" She asks, as Kire nods. She then nods understandingly, before turning to Claus with a patient smile. "And yours?" Claus simply stays silent, looking over to Kire who just stares back.

"...It's Claus." Claus finally answers, before crossing his arms.

"I see. Here, come along, you two, and I'll show you around the ruins." She says, before turning around and starting to walk. The two look at each other before just following behind.

"Do you have an idea of what the hell is happening right now?" Claus asks Kire, who just looks ahead.

"Something...a bit beyond our comprehension."
