Our Love Notes //Bakugou x Fem Reader// Band/MusicAU

Y/n wakes up with a start at her alarm, chiming to wake her up. She sighs, looking up at her ceiling for a moment, thinking how she was really dating Bakugou. Her face lit up as she was thinking about it. None of the class members were surprised at all when they announced it to them, but to Y/n... she was still a bit in awe that of all the people ot was him. Bakugou. The one who hated her for no reason since day one to now being a love interest?! She shook her head at how silly and strange it had been.

Her father was still a bit displeased about it, but thankfully, mom was there to soothe things over. She was done with her travels abroad. The company she was working under had finally got a permanent location in town and gave her the position to help manage it. So she was thankful she wouldn't have to leave home again as often as she had to. So she could be there more for Y/n.

Y/n smiled, getting up out of bed and getting changed into her uniform. After she had everything on, she looked at her reflection. She was ready for another day or school. It was another day she could see her new boyfriend!

A tapping on her window caught her attention. She got up from her small vanity and walked over to the window, opening it to see him.

Bakugou stood at the front gate of her house lightly playing with a small pebble in his hand. "There you are! Let's go, little princess, I don't want the bas- old man complaining that you are late to school!"

Y/n giggled a bit, "Yeah, yeah, I'm coming!" Y/n stuck her tongue out at him, laughing a bit as he rolled his eyes.

She moved away from the window and collected her things, and rushed out the door. Once outside, she walked over to the blonde boy that was still lightly tossing up the small rock.

"You sure took your time." He grumbled, looking away as he noticed the stare of a disapproving man watching him from a window.

"Oh, come on. It wasn't that long. Let's go grumpy pants." She linked her arm with his and dragged him out to the sidewalk, and they started on their way to school.

They chatted to themselves on the walk there, asking silly questions about each other.

-------Years later-------

Y/n stood under the large tree in the park close to the school. Bakugou told her to meet him under it earlier that day. It was right after graduation, as she was still holding onto her diploma. Her nerves were rising as she waited for him to show.

What did he want to talk to me about..? She wondered.

While she was waiting, she found herself thinking back. It has been a crazy 4 years. After the concert, her father eased up on the pressure thanks to her mother, obviously.  She was able to practice and play what she wanted and even allowed to go out and have fun. She would often play with Bakugou and his band. They had made a few songs that they would play for small gigs around.  Even tried out for a few different shows and competitions. They were slowly making a name for themselves. Even though they were still going through school, they had some recording studios reach out to them. Of course, after they  all graduate as per the parents' request. Needed to make sure they all got their education first before focusing on a full-on musical career. She was happy that the band was getting the attention it deserved. She was even happier that she could enjoy the time together with her boyfriend Bakugou.

Speaking of which... where is he?

Midthought, he came running over to her. "Y/n! We did it!" Before she could question what he had meant he had grabbed and picked her up. Spinning her around excitedly. "We got the record deal!" After a few twirls, he put her back on solid ground, his arms still around her waist. A big grin on his face, "we had a producer reach back out to us, and we can start recording and make a debut tour! Isn't that badass?!"

Hearing the great news, Y/n smiled. "That's so amazing! When will you guys plan to do the tour?"

"Ah, maybe sometime in the next few months, I'm not sure the exact date." He says furrowed his brow, trying to remember the date.

"I'm so proud of you!" Y/n says cheerfully, but she had an anxious feeling in her chest. If him and the band go on tour.. what will happen to their relationship. "You will be gone a lot because of the tour.. we could plan visits or trips to see each other."

Bakugou blinked confused, "the hell are you talking about? You are coming with us." He tightened his hold on her, pulling her in closer to him. "You really think I would just leave you alone like that? Dummy." He places his forehead against hers, looking at her with an intense look. "As a matter of fact.. you won't ever be leaving my side.."

She crooked an eyebrow at what he was talking about, noticing he was a bit hesitant about something. "Bakugou?"

One of his arms loosens, and he reaches into his pocket. "You know I'm not that great at this mushy shit. But, it's been a wild 4 years together, and I didn't think I would.. love someone as much as I do for you. It is something I never want to let go of."

Listening to his words, Y/n's heart started to race faster than ever before.
Her face was hot with love and a bit of nervousness.

He lifts up his hand, revealing that he is holding a small box with a ring inside. "You are the music I can't get enough of.. will you marry me?"

Y/n gasped, "Oh my god! Yes!" Happy tears streaming from her eyes she quickly embraced him with a passionate kiss. When their lips parted, they exchanged smiles of joy, and he spun her around again.

The two lost in each other as the wind dances around them, for their next song of life will be written together.
