Why Should I Believe you? Chapter 5

( Finney's POV )

I stare down the slide wondering hopelessly when people would show up. Until I hear Robin speak up. "Hey, um can I tell you that thing I was supposed to say earlier?" I look at Robin, kind of strangely. as I nod my head yes.

"Okay, well, don't find me rude and nosy for this but, why were you and um..." If he fucking asks about Leo, " Why were you and Leo, I guess really close. I mean not to be bitchy or anything! But Leo like, bullies you." Robin says slightly rushed.

"So do you idiot." I say taking a seat on the small bench. "Well, Leo gives you the most shit." Robin says raising his eyebrows slightly. I just roll my eyes leaning back slightly.

"Well, it's really none of your business. And plus I was like half drunk." I say taking my hand and flipping back my hair.

Robin just stared at me while doing so. " So that's it, do you like  Leo?" Robin asks hesitantly. " I mean, I don't really know. Leo seems kind of different when we're alone, but when he's with you, he can be a dick."

I say before getting up. Robin just nods, and walks over to the slide. "Wait, you drink?" Robin says confused. "Yeah, I mean sometimes. But I mean not a lot, because of my old home life." I say before looking to see the water bursting through the water slide.

"Hey guys! Uh, shift is about to start in 5" a girl says before trotting back down the stairs.

I just nod before looking over at Robin, who had once again been staring at me. Ugh this guy. "What!?!" I say making him jump slightly. "What" Robin says acting confused.  "WHaT, Robin you know what I mean! This is the second time you've been fucking staring at me!" I say.

" HEY BITCHES, NO FUCKING CURSING WHEN IT'S WORK TIME!" someone yelled. I just chuckled slightly at the sudden yell. Robin just scoffed before seeing a couple of girls coming up on the stairs.

"First people." Robin mumbles loud enough for me to only hear him. "Hey Robin!" One of the three girls said holding the tube with three seats. 

Robin just smiles before noticing one of them approaching me. It was Donna! "Oh hey Finney! I didn't know you worked here!" I just smile. "Yeah, uh just saw it a day before the tryouts, and tests." I say having the smile laced on my face.

"Oh that's lucky. Um, maybe I'll see you after your shift!" Donna says smiling brightly at me. "Yeah, maybe." I say before gesturing to the tube. "I don't want to be rude in all, but I think you guys have to go down now."

"Oh yeah, come on guys." Donna says leading them to the tube. I walked over where I should have been but I wasn't. 

"Have fun you guys." I say pushing the three into the slide to give them a boost. 

Robin goes over to the entrance of the slide as more and more people start to line up.

As time passes I notice Robin looking, and stealing little glances at me. I just thought he was thinking about all the things he would say to me. I mean he wouldn't call me fag, well maybe but, after all it had been 2023. So I think I was fine. 

"Hey, we're going to take your spot for an hour, it's your lunch break." some guys say approaching me first. "Okay thanks." I say before grabbing my bag and going down the stairs that led to the slide.

"Hey, dude wait for me!" Robin says hurrying down the stairs. "What do you want?" I ask, as I continue going down the stairs fast.

"I just wanted to tell you something." Robin says as we soon reach the end of the stairs. "Tell me what?" I ask looking deep into Robin's eyes. 

"I just... Look Finney, before, if you even do fall for Leo, make sure you're careful. Because Leo cannot only be a dick when he's with his friends, but he can run his mouth about shit and spread rumors like crazy. And I don't want to be rude for saying this shit but, Leo can be very manipulative, that's why he gets everything he wants, so don't fall under his fucking spell." 

Robin says looking down at me, and this was probably the first time he has ever been this fucking serious to me before. "Why should I believe you?" I ask putting my hands on my hips.

"Because, trust me Finn, I know Leo, I've been friends with him since middle school. And that's exactly when he started getting power, and understanding how to manipulate people." Robin just looks at me dead in the eyes.

I just look back at him. "Okay..." "I mean I didn't really even know how I necessarily feel about him yet, but thanks I guess." Robin just looks at me one last time before letting loose his stress.

"Do you want to get lunch?" I look at Robin again. "I mean yeah, I was going to go like ten minutes ago." I say pushing hair back out of my face. "No, I mean like with me?" "Sure, I'll pay then." I say. 

"Wait, actually!" Robin says once again chasing after me to get to my car. "Yeah, I mean you're practically begging for me to take you with me so come on bitch." Finney says before exiting the big complex.

"Why the hell did you call me bitch!" Robin says looking down at. "You call me a nickname I call you a nickname"I say happy with his response. "Just because I called you Finn doesn't mean you get to call m-" "Aha there it is again bitch." I say while entering the parking lot. 

"Ugh, I'm going to call you Finn now." "No you won't!" I say turning around and walking at the same time. "Okay fine... FINN!" I just roll my eyes as I make my way to the car.

Okay I need your opinion, this is a A/N PLEASE READ!!!

Okay should I spice things up between Robin and Finney in the next chapter... Or keep it PG, meaning still keep them as frenemies? Because I don't know which one I should do!

 please comment  PG if you want them to stay frenemies in the next chapter...
