'tis the Season (2015 Christmas Special)

An Out of This World Christmas

I floated into the bathroom cubicle and rummaged around in my toiletries locker for my toothbrush and Star Bright smiles space paste. I then began the difficult activity of brushing your teeth in space, I swallowed the awful tasting paste and left the cubical.

"Georgia!"

"Yes!"

"Homework time!"

"But it's the Christmas holidays. I don't have homework!"

"Well you will be missing some of next year and I don't want you to be falling behind."

"But I was going to watch Mike fix the ship!"

"Oh well I'm sure clumsy old Thomas will break something another time."

"It's Christmas eve!" I pleaded.

"Is it? Oh I forgot, tell Mike to do his repairs on boxing day, it was only a dent. Let's all have a Christmas eve desert!"

"I just brushed my teeth."

"Oh well!" I floated as fast as I could down to the other end of the space shuttle where I found Thomas preparing Mike for the 'mission'.

"Mum said that you can do the job on boxing day! She forgot that it was Christmas eve!"

"Yes. I thought it odd that she gave me this list of jobs." Mike held up his Space tablet, on the screen was a list of various chores. "You know how your mother is about Christmas."

"Yep! Christmas eve and Christmas day are the two most relaxing days of the year for me!"

We all hovered around the synthetic Christmas tree, We had to stop it floating into all the machinery several times, we all sang christmas carols while holding onto the tree. We even had eggnog, ham, turkey, stuffing and pudding flavoured space food.

These squeeze tubes were expensive, but mum loves a good Christmas even if we do have to squeeze the meal out of a tube! After lunch we all exchange presents, I got a high tech tablet from mum Mike and Thomas. Now I can entertain myself on this cramped spacecraft.

It was a great day and literally, an out of this world Christmas.
