It's What's Inside That Counts Adventure Time Finn X OC Alexis

The Plan

"You start us off." Jake says as the group is outside Bubblegum's window while Alexis is sitting in wolf form.

"Um... Hmm. Funny. Funny. Um... Giddyup? Um... diggy-diggy? Diggy-diggy! Diggy-diggy!" Finn says as he begins trying to act funny as Marceline laughs loudly while Alexis looks at Finn before sighing.

"Greetings Finn. Hey Marceline." A voice says revealing to be Bubblegum as she is looking out the window at the group.

"Hello Bonnibel." Marceline says as she smiles and waves at Bubblegum.

"Yeah, yeah. So what's so funny Finn?" Bubblegum asks curiously as she looks at Finn.

"I um uh... it's uh something." Finn says nervously.

"Well then keep it down out there. I'm trying to whistle practice." Bubblegum says before she goes back inside her room.

"That was great. Now we begin phase two. It's so powerful. Wait here." Jake says as he laughs and leaves.

"Finn I still don't know that this is wise. Are you sure-" Alexis then gets cut off by Finn.

"Yes Alexis. I'm sure Jake's plan will work. I tried to be honest and it didn't do anything." Finn says.

"I wasn't gonna say that." Alexis says before she sighs as Marceline looks at her.

"Hey I'm gonna go help Jake. But Finn piece of advise maybe you should listen to what Alexis has to say." Marceline says as she begins to leave as Alexis gives her an annoyed look watching her leave.

"What was that all about?" Finn asks as he looks at a nervous Alexis.

"Nothing! Anyway Finn... I know Jake's your friend and all. So is Marcie and she is my best friend so I know she is doing this genuinely cause she wants to help but if you really want Bubblegum to go to the movies with you I think you should take advice from a girl instead of Jake." Alexis says as she sighs slightly.

"But Jake said phase two is powerful." Finn says.

"Jake who is also a boy knows what girls want more than an actual girl?" Alexis asks.

"Okay. I guess you're right. So your idea?" Finn asks.

"So what we need now is something... fun. Lots of girls love fun. Not as much as honesty but still. If you can show Bubblegum that you're fun she'll want to go to the movies with you." Alexis says.

"That does like a good idea. Thanks for offering to help me Alexis. I didn't know you knew so much about this sort of thing." Finn says as he smiles at Alexis causing her to blush.

"Well let's just say I have my own issues when it comes to this sort of thing." Alexis says nervously while blushing.

"Well still. You're an amazing friend for this. I'm really glad you're my friend." Finn says happily as Alexis gives a slightly sad look.

"Yeah... Friends... Anyway enough about that. So what do you like to do for fun Finn?" Alexis asks.

"Oh! Oh! I like to wrestle and fight!" Finn says.

"Well most girls don't like that. Girls like me yeah but girls like Bubblegum? I doubt that she will be into something like that." Alexis says.

"No, no. That's perfect. All you got to do is get in there and wrestle Princess Bubblegum and show her how fun you are." Marceline says as she comes over.

"Whoa. Where you going man? Check it out." Jake says as he comes over with a suit and a lute.

"What is that stuff?" Finn asks curiously.

"It's a lute suit." Jake says.

"That's your idea for the second phase?" Alexis asks as she looks at Jake.

"Girls love it. Trust me." Jake says.

*Timeskip*

"Finn what the plum are you wearing? You look horrible." Marceline says as she sees Finn in the suit as the group is in the castle.

"It's a lute suit. And Finn looks adorable in it." Jake says.

"Well it's going to ruin the plan." Marceline says.

"Yeah. I have to agree. This isn't gonna go the way you want." Alexis says.

"What are they talking about Finn?" Jake asks as he looks at Finn.

"Well I was gonna give Marceline and Alexis's idea a try too." Finn says.

"Their idea? What's wrong with my idea?" Jake asks annoyedly before he, Alexis and Marceline see Bubblegum and quickly hide as she goes up to Finn.

"Oh hey Finn. Did you ever find some... Whoa. What are you wearing?" Bubblegum asks as she looks at Finn curiously.

"Oh this is my... lute suit. Uh... Oh this is my... lute suit." Finn says as he begins playing the lute

"Finn! That is hilarious. Oh you are killing me." Bubblegum says as she laughs.

"Oh yeah. So... Headlock!" Finn shouts as he jumps Bubblegum much to her alarm.

"Aah! Guards!" Bubblegum shouts as guards come into the room.
