First day of school: check ✔
Actually this day wasn't bad at all. I reunited with my old friends that I didn't see through the Summer holidays and realised how much I missed them.
My group of friends is: Me, Bella, Allison, Josh, Ashton, Brit and Andrew. Ashton is dating Brit, they're the cutest couple ever, my 'OTP'. Allison, I met her in Freshman year, such as Josh, Ashton and Brit. All of them are awesome friends. 2 years ago I met Andrew, Mr. Andrew Edwards. Me and him, we used to have 'something', but he has an image, of being a 'ladies man' and he didn't want to get in a relationship with me, because he didn't want to get attached to someone. And to be honest I didn't want to be with him. Andrew is a gorgeous looking boy and has a great personality, but me and him, it wouldn't work.
After school finished, me and Bella went to eat to a new vegetarian place ( We're vegetarian's ). We both entered the place and we set at one of the tables. The place was quite retro ( 80's ) and vintage, mine and Bella's favourite style.
" Wow, this place is so cool. Can you take a picture of me, to post on instagram? ", said Bella with puppy eyes.
" Of course, my love. Give me your phone. " I'm a really good photographer, well I think I'm, so Bella always asks me to take pictures for her instagram ( photo on top ).
We chosed to eat a salad with fruit on it and a water with lemon. We waited 10 minutes for our food to arrive, it was pretty fast, but something happened. The waiter who brought our food was a bit familiar to me, I looked better to see who it was and I was right. It was Nathan. I check is outfit, thight black skinny jeans, black boots and white shirt with the restaurant name " Vegy-tarian ". He looked really good.
Who made this amazing masterpiece? Probably his parents. God, he is quite a view. Then Bella started to wave in front of my face and said:
" Carrie! Carrie, are you alright? ", Bella asks me.
" What? Yes, I'm alright. Why, are you asking? "
" Because you've been staring at this boy for like 7 minutes. "
I turned to the right and Nathan is still there, with a huge smirk on lips. I couldn't even look at him in the eyes, that's how embarassed I was.
" I-I-I'm s-o sor-ry Natha-an. "
" It's alright princess. Just be more discret next time. Enjoy your meal ladies. ", he said to us and before he left, he winked at me. F***, why is he so charming, why?
We finished our meal and went to Bella's house to do our Philisophy homework about Kant. Once we ended our homework, I left her house and went home. When I arrived home I saw my neighbour Mr. Carlson waiting outside his porch.
" Hello Mr. Carlson! How are you? ", I said politely.
" Oh, Hi Carrie! I'm good, thank you. How was school today? "
" Boring as always. I'm sorry if I'm intruding, but why are you standing here, by yourself? "
" It's alright. I'm waiting for my nephew to arrive. He's going to stay with us for a couple of months. My brother and his wife are going on a long business trip. "
" Ah! If you want me, I can be his babysitter. "
" Oh my, Carrie you're so kind. But I think it's not necessery, because he's aroun ... Uh, there he is! "
I turned around and saw someone, a boy, getting out of a car. I couldn't see is face, but his posture and height were really familiar. When the boy came closer to me and Mr. Carlson, my face turned red as a tomato and I became speachless, because it was the second time, today, that me and him have an encounter. When he saw that was me standing beside his uncle, he smirked at me and giggled a little bit.
" Hello uncle! How are you? ", said Nathan to his uncle and gave him a big hug.
" Nathan, my favoutite nephew. I'm good and you? ", said Mr, Carlson and returning the hug.
" I'm alright. Dad and Mom are now in the airport. "
" Already? I thought that they were going tomorrow. Oh, well. "
I stood there looking at both of them, I don't know if I should 'introduce' myself or just go away without them knowing. But it was to late to sneak out.
" Oh my, how rude I am. This is my neighbour Nathan, her name is Carrie. ", said Mr, Carlson.
He looked at me with a smirk on his face and put is hand out and said.
" Hello Carrie. I'm Nathan, nice to met you. "
I looked at him in the eyes, they were saying 'Are you crazy? We met today!', but I went with his little game. I shooked his hand and said.
" Hi! Is nice to met you to Nathan. "
" Well, now that you met eachother, you can hang out sometime. What do you say Nathan? ", said Mr, Carlson with a big smile.
" I would love to hang out with this fine lady. But I don't know, if she can handle my rebeliness. ", said the bad boy.
I laughed and responded.
" I would love to hang out with you to, but people say I'm a goody two-shoes, so I can't hang out with rebel people. "
" Well, for you I would turn myself into a nerd, just to hang out with you. "
" Of course Nathan, keep telling you that to yourself. "
Mr. Carlson had a suprised and confused expression on his face.
" Wait! Do you know eachother? ", said Mr. Carlson.
" Yes, unfortunately Mr. Carlson. ", I said.
" What?! Do you know how many girls would love to be in your skin right now? A lot of girls. I'm like a magnet to attract females. ", said Mr. Cocky/Nathan.
" Mr. Carlson, can you teach your nephew, that women don't like cocky man. ", said my sass self. " Well, it was a pleasure to be here and talk to you both, but I have to finish some stuff. Good night, Mr. Carlson. I'll see you tomorrow Nathan. "
" Have a nice night Carrie. Say to your parents that I said hi, will you? "
" I will Mr. Carlson. Bye. "
As I was walking to my house, I heard someone call my name.
" Carrie! Sleep tight. ", he said, with a worth winning smile.
I smiled and waved at him.
I don't undernstand our mood swings, sometimes we're talking like normal people, the next second we're flirting or fighting, I seriously don't get it. I hope, that I won't get hurt, again, by getting close to a guy.
