‘!!’ I sprung up from my bed, dripped in a cold sweat but I ended up hitting my forehead hard on
the ceiling of my loft bed. “OW FUCK-!” I shouted out in pain as I rubbed the spot that got hit.
Sighing briefly as I check my phone to see the time. It was 5 in the morning. “Great, what a way
to wake up. . .” I layed back down, wanting to stay asleep forever but I can’t because life hates my guts. After a while of complaining and also staring at my ceiling I go back to sleep since it’s summer break and no one likes to wake up at this god willing hour by will.

DREAM SEQUENCE
‘Hiko.’

Not this dream again..

‘Hiko-! You gotta get up!’

but ..why does this voice sound more..familiar?

‘HIKO! Please we need you!’

How can I help you..if I don’t even know you..?

‘HIKO!’

I woke up once again, with the sun's rays peeking out from my window. I was drenched with a cold sweat from that same recurring dream once more. ‘Who was that voice..?’ I thought to myself as I rose up from my loft bed, “no way it’s a coincidence now..” I muttered outloud  as I thought more about this strange dream I’ve been having. I briefly stare around my room from my bed, decorated with posters from shows, a very messy desk in the corner and the floor that has been cluttered since god knows when. “Might as well get the day started since I'm already up..” I sleepily mumbled as I dragged myself down from my loft bed, and tried to find some decent clothes in my mess of a room. I grab a roar band shirt and some black, comfortable workout shorts from the floor of my room and slip them on. Like I said before I’m on summer break in fact, so 1. I’m home alone once more, and 2, I get to do anything as long as it's legal and my mom knows. I headed out of my room to the main area of my home, which would be the kitchen and the living area. Since the house is small, the kitchen area and the living space were connected as one. ‘Maybe I can meet up with Flynn to do something today..’ I thought to myself as I made a bowl of stale cereal. “Jeez mom needs to go shopping for food again. . “ I muttered to myself as I ended up eating it and going to the living room. I sit down on the couch and I hear my phone chime, “Now what could that be-?” I said to myself curiously. It was two messages,
one from an unknown user from an app that I use to chat with my friends and a direct message
from a friend of mine. I opened up Flynns text first since I didn’t know the user that also texted me.

HIKOQWERTY: WHAT

Starrysung: . . .anyways did you get a weird text??

HIKOQWERTY: uhhh yeah idk who it is tho- half tempted to open it lmao

Starrysung: ok don't cry if your phone breaks lol

HIKOQWERTY HAS LOGGED OFF

I check the other text, still very curious on who actually sent or how they got my chat information in the first place. 'Unknown user huh..' I thought as I open up the message.

Text message

Unknown user: some say they fear the sun, but some are the sun, a powerful fire burning bright. 

Will you be that fire hiko?

I was deciding my choice, was this person being serious? Who were they? Why did they know my name? All these thoughts go through my head as I re read the question.

'Will you be that fire hiko?'

Ever since I was small, I would always be brave and do some stupid stunts with no fear. Even with older kids I would fight them of they ever messed with me or the smaller kids. Kinda like hero..I never identified myself as one to be honest.

"..be a fire huh.." I said as I flipped through the answer options. Yknow what. Fuck it.
I pressed yes and after a few seconds, a huge flash of a bright light came from my phone. It was so bright like I was staring at the sun..it blinded my sight.

I felt the sun on my face as I eventually woke up in a strange place. "my head.." I groaned in pain as I sat up from my position. I was laying flat down, assuming that I fell down to this strange place.

"Where the hell am i..?"
