Love at first sight (xingqiu x chongyun)

chongyun pov:

Me and my best friend, xinqiu  have been friends since the first grade. our moms are best friends and wanted us to grow up together so we wouldn't be alone,  but that somewhat back fired because xinqiu would always bully me, like he would pull my hair or slap me, i didn't really care or tell on him, so when we grew up he continued to bully me but in a more playful way even tho his slaps hurt like hell, but that's enough of our back story on to where we are now.

"xinqiuuu i'm bored" I'm pouted at him "I don't care" he continued to flip through his book "Please can we go out and do something?" I begged. He looked like he was considering it "ok fine" he closed his book and stood up "really?" I shouted a little to loud "ugh can you keep it down. I already have a headache from your begging" he got really close. He was always really close

"ok where do you wanna go yun?" "uh.." I trailed off looking down at the dirt path. "seriously. You begged to go out with me and you don't even have a place picked out" "sorry" I muttered. I felt bad because I made him come out with me and I can't even think of a place to go. 

He sighed and grabbed my hand. He always bullied me or made fun of me, but when ever we were walking somewhere he would always grab my hand. At first I thought it was weird but I've gotten used to it.

"Hey there's a new restaurant near by. Wanna go?" "yeah!" "alright then come on" he started walking and stubbled a bit before I caught up to him. "what does this place have?" He just smirked and kept walking, I have a bad feeling about this.

We arrived at the restaurant and it looked beautiful on the outside. "come on lets go in" he let go of my hand and I felt a little sad. I missed the warmth. I caught up to him and he already asked for a table, they were just waiting for me. My face flushes slightly in embarrassment as I follow behind them.

We sit down across from each other. I looked around and saw there were very little people around. "I asked for a more secluded seat. my head still hurts" he said while reading the menu "Do you want me to pick for you?" he always makes fun of me and hits me but than does stuff like this, and it really confuses me. "uh yeah, please" he just nodded and smirked. I was staring to get nervous. 

Finally the waitress came and asked for our order. He told the lady and left.

"you'll like it don't worry" his words sounded more threading than reassuring. "I also ordered you a green tea. Don't worry it's cold" "thank you" for some reason, even though we've known each other since we were literally born, it still feels awkward being around him.

I was broken out of my thoughts when he stood up and sat beside me. I was confused and just stared at him. Ive never really noticed certain details about him. Like how his eyes are an amber color and don't match his hair color at all but still manages to pull it off, or how his hair is choppy and really needs to be fixed but at the same time it suits him, his nails are always maintained, how whenever he's not wearing his usual clothes he would wear xinyans band merch or xiangling merch. He always loved wearing merch from his friends. I loved that about him. I..love him? 

I lied my head down on the table, feeling my face getting warmer. I felt him start petting my head, normally I would swat his hand away but, this time it was comforting. "You ok?" "yeah" It came out a whisper, he just hummed in response. "you know" he cut him self off. I turned my head so was looking at him, it looked like he was contemplating continuing, I didn't want to force him so I stayed quiet. "I've..never really hated you" I just stared at him, waiting for him to continue. "I guess I was jealous of you. I don't know, thinking about it know my reason for 'hating' you was so childish, I'm sorry Chongyun" he looked me in the eyes when he said my name, it made me blush. "I.. um by the way, why were you smirking so much?" I stumbled over my words. "oh! heh. I guess I was excited to properly hag out with you, also it gave me the perfect opening to properly apologize". I fiddled with his fingers. I thought for a moment and decided to reach over and grab his hand. "I never hated you. I mean how could I hate someone so beautiful" he turned his head away quickly but I could tell from the tint on his ears he was blushing. 

Finally the waitress came with our food and drinks "here you are sirs! is there anything else I could help with?" "no miss! think you." Xinqiu responded to her. he was always so formal with strangers. "here you go yun!" he slid a bowl over to me, I've never seen this dish before so I was a little excited to try it. I let go of Xinqius' hand and picked up my chopsticks. I picked up the noodles and shoved them into my mouth, they were really good, until it hit. I swelled the noddles and my entire mouth felt like it was on fire. I quickly downed my drink and glared at xinqiu. "I hate you" I said coldly "I love you too" he giggled and I grumbled "whatever" as much as I wanted to hate him in that moment, I couldn't. I look over to him and we make eye contact "I love you Xinqiu" "I know".

holy crap this sucked but I felt bad for not updating. also I have like not ideas or motivation so please give me ideas for stores!(its also doesn't have to be related to this ship or genshin at all!) Have a good day/night <3 >^<
