Break Up to Make Up Pt. 1

Me and Ant been together for a year and 3 months. But a week ago, Ant started acting weird.

 For example, he's been coming home late nights, going to sleep in the guest room, not speaking to me, etc. 

And I'm kind of tired of it because I've tried to see what's been going on with him, and he just would not talk to me. 

I've tried asking his sister and brother what's going on and they have no idea.

With it being a week of us not communicating, I built up the courage to pack my stuff and decide to call it quits. 

As I was packing and moving my stuff to my car, I see Ant pull up in the driveway. Ofc I could've just told him then that I was breaking up with him, but I wanted to wait until my stuff was already in my car and I was fully ready to go. 

"Where I would go?" may you ask. 

Well, while living in Minnesota, I've made two friends, Maya and Imani. 

Maya, Imani and I have grown a very close friendship over the past 3 years.

I was just going to go and spend a couple of days with them, until I find a nice house. 

Once all my stuff was in the car, I contemplated on if I should tell Ant in person or if I should just text him. 

I ended up deciding to tell him face to face. I went in the house and found Ant on the couch, playing with his dogs. 

"Ant", I said.

He looks at me with one of his eyebrows raised. 

"You haven't spoken, looked, or touched me in a week. I don't know what's going on and at this point I could care less about what's going on." (knowing I was lying) I said.

"If it's going to continue to be like this then I'm done" I said. 

It took everything out of me to say what I had just said but, I couldn't help the fact that I think there's possibly another girl. 

As I was walking to my car, I facetime Imani and Maya telling them what just happened. 

"So, you broke up with him fr ?" Maya said. 

"She lying, she love that boy to much" Imani said.

"Yall, I fr did it" I said 

" Man just watch, if Ant call her tonight, and we don't see her in the morning we know where she at". Maya said. 

"Right". Imani said.

Anyone who knows me knows that I got a sweet spot for Ant. 

Ant just gives me a feel that no other man has given me. 

My homegirls may be right, but I don't expect for Ant to call nor text me.

I was 5 minutes away from my homegirls house, when I just felt like crying, I mean I did just break up with the love of my life 30 minutes ago. 

I make it to my friend's house and as soon as I walk in the door, tears began to fall. My feelings were all over the place. 

"Mane F him, it's other fine men out there, throw that mf back in the sea and fish for another." Maya said. 

Maya is the blunt friend and can't be held down by one dude while on the other hand, Imani don't be knowing what's going on half the time and she likes to entertain dudes. 

I was just feeling overwhelmed by the simple fact that I felt like my overthinking was right. 

I mean Anthony Edwards is a fine man, every female and they momma tryna get with him and I wouldn't be surprised if he was texting another chick behind my back.
