Dawson
Jennifer stood in front of him. Her tear stained face was unbearable for him to even look at. Avoiding eye contact as much as he could, he stood still too. The rain outside pattered against the glass and the frequent thunders lighted up the dark room when they struck.
"When were you going to tell me?" Jennifer asked in between her sobs. Dawson did not want to answer. He wanted to take it all back and hold her close to him. He wanted to wipe the tears off and kiss her till all the pain faded away. But he couldn't right now and this agonizing feeling within, was killing him. He did not speak, he couldn't.
"Dawson?" Jennifer asked with more force. There was rage and hurt mixed in her voice. He could understand.
"I am sorry Jen," he finally managed to bring these words out of him.
"You're sorry?" she said feigning surprise " He did not know how to answer. He did not have an answer.
"Goodbye Dawson," Jennifer said and started walking towards the door.
"Jen please," Dawson went after her. He caught her by the hand. She turned around and pushed him away with force. Tears raged down her face again as she shouted, "Stay away from me!" and ran out the door. Dawson dropped down on the floor clutching his hair by his fists. He knew he had lost her.
