(Pochi's perspective)
(Anything in bold is in JSL/Japanese sign language)

Pochi finishes rebuilding Reycho, he's much brighter than Pochi had expected.

-

I never thought reprogramming him to proper sentience would be this hard. Honestly I thought it'd be simple, because it was pretty simple for my programming to transition to sentient. I do have to take into consideration that he's a less recent model, making him a tad more complicated.

Luckily, all I have to really do now is... "Shi... shoot." I muttered under my breath. "What's wrong Mr. Pochi?" Yuki spoke. "The programming says Reycho can't process properly. He'll wake up and pass out repeatedly if I boot him up in this state, I need to try and fix this.." I grumbled, looking through my codes to see if I had missed a number or two.

Yuki peeked over and quickly sniped out the mistake, and typed out a few new lines. "There you go! It won't fully fix up the passing out part but it'll lesson it by a lot! Plus, it's normal to pass out a few times the first week he wakes up. I think MAIK dealt with something like this when one of the bots broke." I nodded and thanked Yuki, and continued to finish up a few last details.

I screwed in one last compartment, the one on the back of Reycho's head, and gently flicked the small switch on the back of his neck.

...

C'mon please.. please wake up... I thought worriedly.

...

I grabbed onto Reycho's unmoving hand. It felt like hours went by (probably just a minute or two).

...

"P-Pochi..?" Reycho mumbled, his eyes half open. My worried expression quickly turned into pure happiness. I let go of my grasp on Reycho's hands and nearly started flapping my own hands in the air out of excitement, "Y-you're awake! Does everything feel alright? Everything's intact and working right?" I quickly blurted.

Reycho placed his palm to his head, wincing a little at the movement. He brang both hands forward and silently signed, "Head hurts. Eye too." I nodded and slowly grabbed both of his hands, "Yuki's still working on Pielope, so I'll be the only one to show you around. Do you wanna try to stand?"

Reycho nodded and sat up slowly, he turned to me and quickly grabbed my shoulders as support. "Be slow with your movement, don't rush yourself." I said gently. He stepped off the table one foot at a time and eventually managed to stand, with little stumbling or hesitation. Still holding onto me though.

"Are you able to take a step forward?" Reycho hesitated when I asked. "I'll try to walk. Head still hurts so can't talk." He quickly signed, I could tell the eccentric ginger was probably already thinking of running around with the club or something.

"Okay, if you need to wrap your arm around my shoulder. I know I don't usually like physical contact but.. this is a special occasion." I smiled. Reycho didn't need to smile back, he was already bright as ever.

The two of us waved Yuki bye and headed out the doors, the hallway had the Go-Getters crowded against the walls. They had been patiently waiting for a while, I'm pretty sure I even saw Nyoro examining how I connected in Reycho's wiring through the rooms windows at some point. "Wow.. I didn't expect them all to be here!" Reycho whispered into my ear. "Yup, they've been waiting." I whispered back. Me and Reycho had walked out so quietly they didn't even notice us at first, they were deep in conversation about some upcoming movie or something.

"Hi everyone! Guess who's back." I pointed my thumb towards Reycho who happily smiled and waved to the group.

Everyone lit up. "Reycho!" They all shouted in unison. A few started standing up to run over to us but I quickly stepped forward a bit, "Hey wait, no group hugs yet. Reycho's eye still hurts and he's got a headache." Chuko tilted her head in confusion. "How the hell would he feel pain..? Isn't he a robot?" She questioned. "Too much to explain." I quickly replied. I turned to Reycho, "I haven't actually checked in yet, are you ready to talk?" He nodded and turned to the club, smiling bright as ever.

"Alrighty-o! I never truly introduced myself did I? We were all crying when I started being sentient and verbal," Reycho laughed. "Anyways, not much really changed about me. I'm still happy-go-lucky and honestly I'm excited to be talking! I still need time to form my own opinions and stuff but I've got one already, baseball is my favorite sport!'' Man I need to get used to him talking. I thought to myself.

I think the rest of the club thought that too, they all looked almost in disbelief. Reycho always used sign back before all the twists and turns of our journey. "Sick! Reycho, they've got this cool grassy area outside you could practice with me!" Kansai shouted. Reycho nodded and ran off with Kansai, I couldn't help but feel a small pang of jealousy for some odd reason.

"We should probably go outside with them, they might end up causing trouble or something." Aniki stated. Everyone quickly agreed, because Kansai's chaotic nature and Reycho's strength combined is definitely not to be trusted unsupervised.

I was on one of the benches alone. Pai and Aniki had went to some place to get ice cream for everyone and Jennu, Nyoro, Tattsun, and Mowchan were just talking. Kansai, Reycho, and Chuko we're practicing, Chuko was only watching the two practice though. Yuki was probably gonna come out soon too.

"Pochi! You seem a tad lost in thought, something on your mind? Or someone?" Vanilla sat down next to me, I looked up from my dangling legs that I had been repeatedly swinging in the air.

This was supposed to be a oneshot then I realized how much I truly wanted to build with this! Also I re-wrote this like 3 times because I was confused on where I wanted to take this :')
