Prologue

Dating A villian isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. In fact, Jungkook believes that it's actually quite wonderful. He should know. he is dating one after all.

So perhaps Jungkook was dating one of the most infamous villains to have ever existed.

It wasn't a big deal. It's not like he specifically searched for him so they could fall in love. No. It just happened. He met him late one night at a convenience store that was open 24/7 and they somehow clicked.

It had taken Jungkook a while to find out that Taehyung was V, though as he studied pictures of said bad guy afterwards, he could see that they did have a few similarities. but it's not like he could blame himself for not noticing earlier, because unlike some villains in comic books and movies, he actually went so far as to protect his identity.

He'd planned to dump him. Jungkook wasn't about to stay with someone who had killed multiple people and ruined cities battling heroes who just wanted to save everyone from people like him.

In the end however he couldn't bring himself to do it, having already fallen in love with the male by the time he found out. And to his surprise, things changed for the better.

Taehyung didn't hide anything he planned to do afterwards because he knew everything he said was just between him and Jungkook, so the male actually ended up serving as an object for his boyfriend to bounce ideas off of. It was a little fucked but Jungkook was glad that Taehyung didn't keep anything from him, though he wasn't sure how to feel about helping him plan things that surely wouldn't be too great for anyone that wasn't the two of them.

There were other things too that Jungkook absolutely loved (some of them being things that he probably shouldn't have).

Like when Taehyung, being the cold boy he was supposed to be, grumbled as Jungkook took his hand in his when they were in public but never did anything about it. Jungkook felt like he could explode with how much endearment he felt in those moments.

And When they were lying in bed late at night, and Taehyung's defenses were down so he'd admit that Jungkook had become the most important person in his life, and he'd do anything to be with him forever. Well how could Jungkook even consider leaving him after hearing that? He felt exactly the same way after all.

One of the things that the younger secretly really liked was when he would come home from his job to Taehyung cooking dinner and would then be surprised with a piece of jewelry or something shiny that was obviously very expensive. Maybe it should've bothered him when he watched the news a few hours later and saw that a jewelry store had been robbed, but it didn't. He was a bit materialistic in that manner, since he'd always been too broke to afford buying something as pretty as what Taehyung had gifted him. So he didn't complain or say anything about it. even if Jungkook wasn't allowed to wear it outside the house, it was the gesture that counted.

Sometimes Taehyung got angry though. He was hardwired as a person with a rough personality, and even after adding Jungkook to the equation he wasn't the absolute best. So there were of course arguments and fights, things that every couple endure.

Jungkook usually always gave in first, because he'd try to look at it from his boyfriend's perspective and see what had happened in his eyes. Taehyung tended to blow small things out of proportion because of previous bad relationships and that definitely wasn't good but Jungkook understood that, and he couldn't blame him.

(He wasn't a complete pushover though. He knew when he was in the right and during those times he would stand by his word).

No matter what the fight was about though or who was right and who was wrong, Taehyung would always, and i mean always answer Jungkook's texts. Leaving the younger on seen was something that apparently wasn't in his vocabulary. Jungkook absolutely loved that.

The last thing he did that made Jungkook's heart melt was how protective he was over him. An example of this was when Taehyung and Jungkook were out one day. The younger had felt pretty that day, so he decided to put on a cute plaid skirt taehyung had bought him recently. When they went out to a coffee shop and the older had gone to the bathroom, Jungkook was approached by an older man.

// tw ; slut shaming //

At first he was complimented and told how beautiful he looked, which kook of course responded to with an "Ew" when the flirting hadn't worked the man started to insult him, telling him how much of a slut he was for going out in public like that. Jungkook knew that he was simply acting out like a child because he was basically rejected, but the words actually hurt him for some reason. He started tearing up after a minute and looked down at his legs, waiting for the man to get tired and go away.

// end of tw //

People started to stare and a few of the people who worked there walked over to put an end to it, but Taehyung got to them first. He started yelling at the man, saying "he can wear whatever the fuck he wants. He's allowed to feel confident and wear something he likes without being judged and degraded by people like you."

They ended up being kicked out, and Jungkook led them straight home so he could fix up Taehyung's hand that had gotten bruised and was bleeding from beating the shit out of the guy (he didn't want to go to the hospital). That day was hell for the younger, but it was also the day he realized his boyfriend really cared and truly would do anything for him.

So yeah, maybe Jungkook was dating "the bad guy". but my god did he love him, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

He was everything to Taehyung. and Taehyung was everything to him.
