Wormward Asylum

Pilot Chapter

Built in 1842 Wormward Asylum has stood in the outer forest region of New Hampshire for over 150 years. It was constructed on the 4th of July by Jamieson Wormward an MD and Psychologist who became obsessed with females and their way of living. Jamieson lived with his foster parents as a kid, as his family got wiped out it a mysterious fire outbreak in his early teens. Mysterious because no one has actually been able to give a proper account of what happened that night, some said they heard a loud bang before the fire while the others said they heard Mr and Mrs Wormward exchanging hot words.

Growing up with foster parents who had six female children reshaped Jamieson's views about females and this was due to the fact that he was constantly molested as he was the youngest in the family. As he grew up, things got worse and ageing had a boost on his already distorted perspective about women. He got addicted to the females' way of living which led to the construction of the Asylum. Wormward asylum was at first an all-female hospital. Five years after its construction Jamieson started to become more aggressive towards his patients and that led to live experiments on some patients as young as four years old, he would do all sorts of things with the ladies and tag them "anatomy". After the death of his wife due to a stage accident in 1850 Jamieson went completely insane and murdered all the woman on the top floor via burning them while they slept, he burned them to sooth himself of the pain but that didn't work as it only made things get worse for him and made him more dangerous. He registered the hospital as a mental asylum in 1851 after a year of re-construction was performed on the building.

Jamieson became the first warden of the asylum and made sure it was only for female patients however male staff members were permitted as a way of helping Jamieson with power over the patients. In the first few years Wormward hosted the death of nearly 40 patients and half of those were grisly murders. Legend says that Jamieson built traps to keep the patients inside the asylum and if anybody were ever to try and escape that they would perish in the dreaded lower levels. The girls that lived there were not typically ruled insane, they were runaways, out of control teens, or criminals. Wormward became a teen only operation in 1854 after Jamieson was almost convicted of murdering eight children.

The patients that lived there from 1854 onwards were registered under nicknames that were sweet or uncanny, so that if they were killed no real birth record existed because they would only be registered medically under the name they were given. Jamieson met his fate when a carefully executed plan which was masterminded by a patient called Lollipop. He carefully put an appropriate dose of poison in his drink while serving him at one of the ritual-like feasts performed yearly at the Asylum. Ironically, the poison was made by Jamieson himself, he used it in getting rid of patients that were beyond his power limit in the fear of a rebellion of purportedly mad girls. After his death at the hands of a patient known as Lollipop, Wormward Asylum has had thirty different wardens over a one hundred year period.

It was in 1934 that warden Mistress Butterscotch demanded that all patients have their hair dyed extraordinary colours so that they could be told apart, some had parts of their hair dyed while others had a full colour change with the colourant provided by the mistress, every new patient had a peculiar colour to fit. This became a trademark of Wormward as at the time it was almost impossible to colour the hair of anybody outside the human colour range. Butterscotch ensured that every one of the patients had every part of their body which had a lot of hair dyed. The patients dyed their hair down to their pubic hairs! This seemed to be a uniform as every patient had a unique dye-colour for herself.

Two out of the patients Jam and Mint were appointed by the mistress to oversee the dyeing of the patients hair. The two ladies were exceptional because they were so hairy to their feet and for this reason did Butterscotch refer to them as Human apes. Jam liked to taste the hair of the patients after dyeing and Mint rather had a passion to dye the patients' eyebrow, she said it gives them a sane look.  Whether the patients liked it or not they were forced to do certain activities by the wardens and each warden had their own diabolical style. Mistress Widow like the girls to spend three hours in the bathtub while under watch from a male staff member at all times.

Many times, the sexual hormones in the male staffers were stirred up and every time it happened they ejaculated in their pants. Amongst the male staff members, was Spider. One day, he lost total control of his emotions and started molesting the girls. By the time he was discovered, he had molested nineteen girls then the mistress ordered that he should be castrated and he lost his life in the process because the operation was carried out by quacks. While Mistress Pinky made the girls leave their dirty underwear in her drawer. Mistress Emerald enjoyed watching the girls urinate and sang songs to them while she did, she also like to watch them shower and ranked them according to the sizes of their boobs. Madame Scream who became warden in 1948 was the only clinically stable warden to have ever run the asylum.

Despite being clear of any mental disability Madame Scream was  one of the most demonic wardens in the history of Wormward. In her first year she medically cleared two patients, Kora and Nightmare to be well enough to leave but instead gave them jobs as nurses. Kora suffered an accident at the hands of Doctor Butcher when she was a patient that left her without a bottom jaw. Kora would dole out all sorts of untested drugs to the patients, they would consume these substances without reluctance since they have no knowledge of what the substances were. Nightmare has been responsible for the disappearance of more than a dozen patients in her twelve years of being a nurse.

Madame Scream was the first warden to bring in a uniform to Wormward as in the past the patients were demanded to walk around naked. She saw no point to the exploitation of woman for men it was something of a touchy subject to her. Although the patients gravely fear her, Madame Scream's idea of activities were relatively normal compared to those of the past. The girls got bonding time for two hours a day and they no longer had to bathe under male supervision but they all showered in the same complex with only curtains between them and used just one bar of soap for the whole block.

It was in 1956 that Madame Scream's rule came to an end.
