It was raining heavily and the man sitting inside his stationary car on a deserted road was getting irritated as from the past two hours he was waiting for the mechanic and a few moments ago he gets a call that the mechanic can't come over the location due to heavy rains.
He has spend his time working on his laptop but now it's charging is getting drained and even he himself is getting hungry.
His phone rings, which gets unheard for the first few seconds due to the noise of the water droplets hitting violently on his car. He picks up the call and answers without looking at the caller-ID. "WHAT?" In an irritated tone. "Is this a way to talk with your mother Abhi?" comes a stern reply.
He quickly looks at the caller id and closes his eyes in exhaustion, after a while he replies, "I'm sorry Maa I didn't look at the caller id while picking up the call. Won't do it next time."
"Well I figured it out. But why are you irritated my baccha?"She asks out of concern.
"Well I got stuck in this deserted road from past 2 hours and just now the mechanic informed that he couldn't come due to heavy rains."he replies
"Well why don't you go out seek for a shelter for the night. I'm sure what you are calling a deserted road is actually an outskirts of a village. You can ask for their help. And remember, Everything happens for a..."
"... Reason and we should always learn out of the worst situation along with following our Principles". I remember it Maa. Thanks for the advice. Bye love you"
"Bye. Love you too my baccha."
He hangs up the phone. And turns to the back seat of the car from the driver seat. To find an umbrella which he usually keeps in the rainy season. He then packs his bag , for which he is thankful to his sister for giving him a spacious waterproof bag. He keeps his phone, charger, wallet and his laptop inside the bag. He also adds on his clothes which he usually keeps for an emergency. Though now he only adds his pants and undergarments as his extra shirt was spoilt which he forgot to replace with another one. He writes a note saying that the car has some technical problem and due to heavy rains he had no option but to leave the car there. He apologies for the inconveniences and wrote his and his brother's phone number below the note. He sticks this note on the window inside the car and leaves with his bag to find a shelter for the night along with his life-saving umbrella.
He walks for a while and sees a source of light coming from a house. He walks in that direction and decides to go there seeking for help.
He hopes the owner helps him with shelter and food. He knocks the door first lightly, then realizes that the person might not able to hear faint knocking so he bangs the door three times. And waits for a response while looking around the exterior of the house. He concludes that it is lively even on darkest night.
He waits for few minutes. He is about to leave when the door opens. He sees a girl standing in front of him with confused face. It's night time and due to dim lights he could not see her face clearly. Either ways he proceeds with his request.
"Hello, Madam I got stuck due to rains and my car is having a problem. The mechanic could not come here because of the water logging on the road in the way. Can I please get a place to sleep at night and some food if you don't mind." The girl standing there was confused about letting this man enter the house as she was all alone from the past three days. But looking at the man she didn't get any bad vibes so she said ,"yes you can enter" and moved aside giving him a way to enter. After listening to her sweet voice he got some peace to his disturbed mind.
He entered the house closing his umbrella, keeping it aside in the corner, closely looking at the interior of the shelter.
She closed the door and went inside. He was still secretly looking around the place while she comes back a while later and said ,"you can wash your feet and face over there" she pointed out to a corner and continued "then you can dry yourself in that room "she ended while pointing towards a room and handed him a towel. She was going to go but stopped and asked him "umm..,do you need anything else sir?"
He looked at her and said ,"Thank you for your help. Can I get a shawl or a shirt to change into for the night. And you can call me Abhi not sir" "Ok, and my name is Anchal not madam, please wait I'll bring the shirt." she replies and leaves from there.
He smiles and waits for her return. She comes and hands him the shirt and goes in the kitchen to arrange a plate for him. He goes towards a corner to wash his feet and face along with his hands in the corner shown by her.

He then goes to the room to dry himself and puts on the changed set of clothes. He hangs his previous wet clothes on the rope inside the room.
He goes in search of that girl. He finds her and calls out to her,"Anchal, I changed my clothes and hanged my previous clothes on the hanger. Is it alright?" "Yes it is, please have your dinner and tell me if you want more."
"Thank you for the food" he says and sits down on the place arranged for him on the ground.
She comes and gives him a glass of water and sits down leaving some distance between them. He is amazed as she managed to plate food for him at this hour in very less time.
"Do you want some chutney ?" He thought for a while then nodded. She served him the Chutney. He was almost done with his dinner, when he looked at her and predicted that the girl wants to ask something. "You wanna ask something?" She nodded and replied after a while, "When are you leaving?"
