27. Closer

The next day , Jimin went to school earlier to meet his friend. He noticed some students gossiping about a new teacher . Well, he's not interested about what they talk.

He made his way to the classroom. Taehyung was there sitting near the window, looking at something but more like spaced out. He went near that boy and gently patted his shoulder to gain his attention. The other boy just gave him a soft smile,  which was not like him. "Hey, Tae how are feeling now?" Jimin asked.

Taehyung thought about how much he was broken and weak to the other boy but he can't bring himself to tell the truth.  He hide his sadness and said "I'm fine jimin nah. Feeling better than yesterday " .

For some reasons Jimin didn't buy it , on the other hand he can't force the boy to tell him. He wanted to change the gloomy vibe . "Tae have you heard the gossip about a new teacher?" Jimin asked like he was interested but only to change the mood of the blond boy.

"No Minnie . I don't know " He said in a not interested tone. Jimin didn't gave up " the students said that person was breath taking " He said with a mischievous grin. Taehyung turned his head to the other , " how come I didn't know that" He said.

"Well, you need to work on that" Jimin said like sassy gossip girl and flipped his imaginary hair . This made Taehyung laugh , the true one. Deep down Jimin felt relived to see his friend like this. They both talked about random stuffs and giggled among themselves.

Somewhere at school,

Jungkook and his friends were gathered at their usual spot. Jungkook and Jeno were arguing about who is the biggest nerd in the school, childish right? They may seem like gangster but opposite from that. Yugyeom was chatting with someone on his phone  and stopped it due to their stupid argument.  " and I'm saying he is the biggest nerd" Jeno said .

" No..no.. he's not. I mean I've seen him. We spent our childhood together, trust me he's studying here in this school " Jungkook said .

" In your dreams.." Jeno didn't believe him.

They both felt a slap on the back of thier head , both of them turned to see a annoyed Yugyeom. "What was that for hyung?" Jeno whinned and Jungkook rubbed the spot he got hit.

"What are you 5 , even kids these days are smarter than you guys. What are you guys even arguing about?" He asked them.

"We were talking about who is the biggest nerd in this school" Jungkook said . " and I told him that Junghwan is the biggest nerd . He didn't agree with me and telling about some ghost student" Jeno said with a mocking grin.

" yaa. He's not a ghost , he's that much of a nerd that you didn't even notice his existence. you can ask me how come I know him? Well he's my cousin " He said .

" At first I thought you might telling the truth but now I strongly disagree with you " Jeno said .

" Why?" Jungkook asked. "You want me to belive that your cousin is a nerd , we see how you struggle to pass " Jeno said and earned a glare from the other." That has nothing to do with my studies . You brat come here." Jungkook said and went after Jeno , who's now running for his life. Yugyeom stood there laughing at their silly acts. Jungkook caught him and  they were fighting and laughing , that made Yugyeom feel better.

His friends was his escape and none of them know it.

They both came near the boy how was looking at them with a awe eyes. " Earth to gummy" Jungkook said ,which made him come out of his thought. "Hyung are guys free after school?"Jeno asked. Jungkook nodded and Yugyeom shook his head.

"Actually I...I've..a date " He said. His friends looked at him with a shocked expression.

"Wow,  hyung you are tell this now" Jeno said. "Gummy who are you going out with" Jungkook asked." You know..Mark red house's football team captain . He's the person I'm going out with" Yugyeom said with a blush tinted on his cheeks.

"Hyung are you sure? If that guy pull up any sick jokes tell us" Jeno said being a protective brother." We are not trying to scare you but we aren't in good terms. We are opponent and that is why it scares me . You know what I mean" Jungkook said with a concerned voice.

Yugyeom smile and said " You guys don't worry about me being played. I feel like he's genuine, I want to give a try" .

"Well , if that's what you want . No one gonna stop you " jeno said and Jungkook agreed. "But gummy you should take it slow " Jungkook said with a dirty grin on his face.

Yugyeom got shy and playfully hit him. Three of them were laughing ."Am I missing out something?" Mingyu asked like a left out puppy. They shook their head to tease the other boy, which worked well. They know that Mingyu is not a calm person in general.

"Seriously you guys are sneaky brats" Mingyu huffed like a baby.

"Okay, Yugyeom hyung is going on a date" Jeno said . "Oh, with whom?" He asked in a bored tone. Everything thought for a second , they know the boy would make a scene. "Actually..hyung" jeno was cutoff by Yugyeom.

"I'm going on a date with Mark" Yugyeom said , which made the other even more mad.

"What..I know you're dumb but this is a way too much " Mingyu yelled at the petty boy. " You think he's running behind you for love, bullshit he's using you. Even a kid would know this" He shouted at Yugyeom ,who looked like a deer infront of a angry tiger.

"Mingyu I think this is enough . This is his life if he wants to give him a chance he can. Ofcourse we don't know his intensions but what if he's actually a nice person " Jungkook said. Jeno agreed with him , which made Mingyu roll hus eyes. "Whatever I'm not interested in these kind of shitty dramas." He said and went to meet other boys. Yugyeom kept looking at the way the boy went out , he know Mingyu would never see him in the he wants him to , that's why he's trying to move on from him.

Mingyu is making it harder for him. Jungkook placed a hand on his should to cheer him. Jeno gave him a small smile " Don't worry hyung, We know his anger issues.  Give him some time and don't let this to spoil your date " Jeno said with a cheeky smile.

The bell rang which made the boy's to reach their classes. As usual Jungkook cade a late entry but there was no staff on the class . He sat in the last desk and started to stare at a particular boy. Especially a boy sat beside Taehyung and laughing at god knows what. He kept thinking about yesterday's eventes he's not a person who would force themselves on other but with Jimin he barely control his scene.  He know that the boy has nothing to do with this but he felt an attraction towards him.

Suddenly a staff came in and started to talk at first Jungkook didn't pay attention to them he was looking at Jimin, how he listen to the staff and nodding his head like a little boy . Jungkook had the urge to keep the boy safe.

The reaction on Jimin's face changed into a shocked one , the said boy was looking at a person without even blinking which made Jungkook to look at them.

"...as I said Mr.Min will be your new math teacher so be good to him. Carry on Mr. Min " the staff said and left.

"I'm Min yoongi and I'll be your new math teacher. Let's say I'm not a calm person like Mr.choi . You can have fun but studies is necessary keep that in mind and pay attention to the board . I'll know your name by the coming days . We have got enough of time to get closer" He said the last line by looking at Jimin. Which didn't went unnoticed by Jungkook. Now he hates the new staff for sure.
