Prologue

Roxia De Luxe never would've thought that this night was going to be her last, if she did then it would be too late to repent for the moral shortcomings and indecency she had committed as a highranking aristocrat.

She also never looked-forward to her demise.

Even now, when her own brother; Gabriel De Luxe has pointed the sharp edge of his sword directly to her neck with no lingering sense of remorse etched on his flawless features.

As he pressed the sword deeper towards her parched throat, her sanity began to leisurely slip away along with the crimson liquid leaving her already feeble body to tremble uncontrollably.

It made him chuckle at his sister's pathetic face, no one would believe him if he claimed that the Roxia whom his father; the Duke took great pride in simply for her talent and beauty...is cowering beneath his feet.

'Haah, the irony.'

This was the exclusive day where he'd witness it with his own eyes, the usually pretentious and self-centred sister of his to loose her condescending gaze towards him and those of lower status.

Now, it was his turn to look at her as if she was no human, as if she was trash.

"I had prepared everything especially for you, dearest sister. I wanted to know if sister enjoys her beloved younger brother's deluxe treatment."

Even if she clearly isn't, he was enjoying it in her stead.

"Does my sword feel nice on your throat?"

Roxia's pink eyes clashed to stare at his sinister red ones that Gabriel has proudly displayed was inherited from their father's crimson irises, which were often mistaken as genuine blood splattered on his eyes.

"You're crazy!" Is what her dry lips could only spat out as she felt the bitter aftertaste of defeat.

She refused, and reminded herself to never ever again succumb to his twisted fetishes. No matter how overly handsome her brother is it was no tale, everyone in the Empire knew,

Gabriel is sexually interested in other overly handsome men as well.

For short,

He's gay.

This face that women were drooling over belonged to men.

Nevertheless, he was as sinister as his well-known tyrant older sister. He always laughed when his sister had thrown numerous insults at him in the past, but now he was laughing hard like a drug addict on the loose.

"We both know who's the crazy person in our family- excluding the old man." Gabriel kneeled down to his sister's pathetic figure and adjusted the sword.

He whispers near her ear with a degrading tone as if he wasn't talking to a human being, instead a wild animal that needed to be trained. "I'm proud of my sister, she's very famous for her stupidity."

"Even a brainless person could figure out the poison you had placed on Rayner's wine."

"I can't believe it, you went all out on me because I poisoned that feminine male?" Roxia scoffed as if her life wasn't in the hands of the one she insulted.

"Believe it."

"Hah! I must say dear brother, he deserved it for staining our family's reputation." Her maniacal laugh echoed through the forest.

"Out of all the things you could've said- is that really your final words?" Just as he was about to slit his sister's throat.

Gabriel halted for a moment, he realized what he was about to commit when they made eye contact again.

He didn't know what to do.

Killing her sounded so easy to him, yet what has made him hesitate?

It was guilt.

Living in a toxic noble household wasn't easy for him as an heir.

Roxia was the only person he clinged to when he was young. She acted out as both a mother and father figure to young Gabriel, his older sister was always with him whenever he needed her the most.

What has made it come to this?

He remembered all the happy memories he had with his beloved sister, knowing that those wonderful memories were a reminder of how his sister drastically changed.

She changed the way she acted towards him.

Her mannerisms, her way of speaking, her facial expressions. Gabriel noticed how she barely even smiled.

"I'm sorry sister, I promise to do better when we meet in the afterlife."

"Then I'd like to see you in hell." Roxia dangerously said her tearful good-byes without any sense of fear.

He laughs at her tiredly, not a single drop of tear left her devilish eyes even when death is drawing near.

'We certainly are related.'

Gabriel stood up and without thinking twice, he plunged the sword deep into his beloved sister's heart.

Her brother hadn't await for midnight and mercilessly stabbed her in the chest.

He no longer waited for nothing.

Roxia felt the sudden pain and the blade rubbing against her bone when she moved an inch, making her body shiver.

"It's wonderful to finally see a splash of colour decorating your pale face, dearest sister. It just so happens to be my favourite."

The crimson liquid seeped out of her pale skin as Gabriel stated. She ended up coughing out more blood from her mouth.

Each crazy person has talents, and still not dying even when her heart is shattered was one of Roxia's. It seems that she really has no heart as they claimed.

She is and will always be, a heartless monster.

Even til death,

Roxia will carry out the sins she had committed.

She will die a villain.

"HAHAHAHAH you really are an ungrateful bastard! Worthless piece of shit! The only mistake mother had left!"

He hadn't thought that his angelic looking sister could shout such vulgar words.

If someone else were to see them, they would misunderstood her curses as prayers for god with a face like that.

Minus the fact that she was completely covered in her own blood.

"I could have been the Duke's heir if it weren't for you! If only you were never born!" She struggled to get the sword out of her chest.

Gabriel ignored her pain and barrages of complaints but the next made his eyes wide in shock.

"I did everything to kill you... yet I'm the one dying in front of you. Ironic isn't it?"

Roxia finally gave up struggling as she choked out, breaking the calm facade she had made throughout these years.

"You're crying..."

She noticed her brother's expression and took that as a hint to continue.

"Yes brother, that's right. I was the one who pushed you out of the window when we were young, I was the one who killed your pet dog and blamed it on the maid!"

"I was the one who spiked your wine on your debut day because I was worried you didn't like women. And I was right all along, your gay ass can't produce children for our family!"

His red eyes glared at her, just when he thought he felt sorry for his sister and the tears were somewhat proof of that guilt...

She had to ruin the moment with her big mouth.

And Roxia should thank that big mouth of hers, the cause of her head getting detached to her body.
