Later that evening, Gerald was still at the office since he wanted to get some things done before going home. His phone went off and anwsered.

"Hello?"

"Gerald, this is Martin from the public safety department."

"Good evening. What is the problem?"

"I'm calling you to prevent one. Have you noticed anything wrong with your machines?"

"You mean my robotic detectives?"

"Yes. The case of one of your detectives, mainly Elecman can be closed. We have a good feeling that the two robots which belong to Armando went bezerk due to malfuntion. Perhaps that's why they attacked your detective. But should we also consider his side to the story?"

"Well you should believe it. The only way he could lie is if he was suffering from a glitch."

"All robots in the city are getting checked within the next few weeks. Is it alright if we did a few tests on all of your robots to know for sure they arn't going downhill?"

"Yes, that is fine. They have their owners, along with technicians, but you are allowed to run these tests if you see fit."

"Good. I also want to ask something."

"What is it?"

"Has Elecman been showing any signs of depression? Anxiety? Fear? Or any other emotions which link to those?"

"He has been awfully quiet lately, I must say. But his friends are there to prevent him from going down that path again."

"Keep a good eye on him. and the others as well. We don't want our allys to become our worst enemy."

"I understand. Goodnight sir."

"Goodnight." He hung up the phone and began to worry a little bit. He knew Elec very well, but not like the scientists who found him and took care of him until the robot became a detective. They were the ones who practicly raised him and made sure he was able to live a peacefull life.

When the clock hit 1 AM, Elecman seemed a little restless in his sleep. He moved a bit too much. When he opened his eyes, he noticed that room around him wasn't there anymore. instead, a cobalt blue shading surrounded him, with the bottom being pitch black. His bed was still there and even had his detective clothes on. Confused, he stood up and looked around him. There was no sound other than faint rumbling.

"Hello?" He said, with his voice echoing a bit in this void of nothing. When he continued to look around him, his bed was no longer there and began to feel a little scared.

"Where am I?"

"Order in the court!" A voice said behind him.

There was a man sitting behind a courtroom desk, along with a gavel he slammed while speaking.

"The witnesses have spoken and I declare you as guilty."

"Guilty?" He replied.

"What do you mean? What's going on here?"

"You will be shut down forever due to the fact that you've taken a great number of lives after failing to find the culprit in the detective agentcy."

"Failing? But, what are you talking about? I've just started this case!" He claimed.

"Those hands tell a different story." The judge said.

Elec was confused and looked down at his hands. Shocked to see them covered in fresh blood. His clothes were suddenly covered with tears, as if he had gone through the biggest battle of his life; Dodging shears and other objects so people could stop his rampage. Blood was even covering his face. He started to gasp in fear, shake a little and looked back at the judge who didn't seem to care at all that he was in a state of shock.
