I will never let you go.

My new master Jing Liu.

After the meal, we went to meet Jing Yuan's master. I learned her name to be Jing Liu. He told me a lot about his master, the stories of how she taught him, and how they went on a few missions together. And how even though strict, she is very fair and kind at heart.

He really seemed to hold her in high regard. It was easy to see that he really looked up to her and with every part of his being wanted to be just like her.

We walked to the building of the cloud knights, as he called it. 

"Is this the survivor I heard about?"

One of the guards asked as we walked past him inside.

"Yes, we are going to see Master now."

Replied my friend for me.

"Wish you luck, stranger."

The guard said to me.

After walking through the huge building we arrived at a massive door.

"We are here, follow me, and don't talk unless you are asked."

My friend warned me.

I nodded and he opened the door and walked inside, with me following closely behind him.

"Master, we are here."

On a platform on the opposite side of the room to the doors was placed a big desk, and behind that desk sat a beautiful woman of average height with white hair and red eyes.

She seemed to be doing some paperwork at the moment. But when she heard his voice she looked up from her papers and I swear I could see just a tiny smile finding its home on her face as she noticed his presence. She quickly suppressed it, though, keeping her composure.

"I heard the mission was a success."

"It was master, we annihilated them without any casualties."

"Ah, very good, at this pace you might even become a general one day."

"And this person is the one that I heard about, the foreign refugee?"

"Yes, master."

"He doesn't seem to have a proper name but he told me that people call him Kass."

"A nameless Kass hmm?"

"Tell me what do you seek at Xianzhou Luofu?"

She tilted her head slightly.

"Surely you had a reason to board our ship."

She asked as she sat up from her desk and slowly started to walk toward me.

"I want to join you, I have a personal reason to fight the abundance."

I replied firmly.

"So you want to join the cloud knights correct?"

"Yes."

"And do you have any battle experience?"

"I killed a few of abundance followers using my powers, but other than that I don't have much combat experience, ma'am."

She raised her eyebrows at this, stopped in front of me, and looked at my friend for confirmation.

"Powers?"

"Yes, master his powers are really extraordinary."

He answered for me.

"He told me that he gained those powers from the path that he follows, and they seem to have immense potential."
