Buffy didn't like being the wife of the Master, but if she couldn't have Spike, it was better than nothing. She wanted nothing to do with her old gang after their betrayal. Now, she would rule the world with the Master.
It might not be a marriage of love, but it was a marriage of convenience. And Buffy would make the Angel and Scoobies rue the day they betrayed her.
Back in Sunnydale, Spike, Angel, Giles, and the Scoobies had to feel Sunnydale when the Master had Sunnydale demolished so he could rebuild the town with robots who would fulfill his works.
Now, Sunnydale was only a memory in Spike, Angel, Giles, Xander, Willow, and the rest of the gang in their hearts.
But the saddest thing was Dru, who burst into dust at the hole that was once Sunnydale before their very eyes.
