"Where is my skirt?" My older sister, Mandy Pike, shouted at me. "And my hot pink tank top?!"

As usual, Mandy thought I took her clothes. I smiled as I zipped my jacket over her hot pink tank top.

"Melissa Rae Pike! Didn't you hear me ask you something?!" She snapped, barging into my bedroom. "Where is my skirt and tank top?"

"I have no idea." I lied. "I haven't touched it. Why don't you just wear something else? You have a bunch of clothes."

Mandy sighed, before nodding her head. "You're right." She agreed. "I just wanted to impress my boyfriend Sam Burgess."

"Isn't Zach Burgess his younger brother?"

"Yes." Mandy said. "My bus should be here in two minutes, so I've got to go get ready." With that, Mandy shut her bedroom door.

I grinned to myself as I zipped up my backpack, with Mandy's skirt tucked safely at the bottom.

"Melissa! Your bus is here. Come on down!" Mom shouted up to me.

"Coming Mom!" I shouted back, as I descended down the stairs. "Bye, Mom! See you later!"

"Bye, Lissa. Have fun!" She shouted from her bedroom as I opened the front door and walked down the steps to my bus.

My best friend, Mary-Kay Jones, greeted me with a friendly smile. "Lissa, how was your weekend?"

"Great? Now cover me!" I hissed.

"Why?" She asked, as I slipped off my jacket. Her eyes grew as round as saucers. "Where did you get that tank top? It's gorgeous."

I grinned widely. "I got it from Mandy's closet." I smirked at her.

"You took it without asking, didn't you?" She said in a flat voice.

"Yep. Now, let me slip off these pants." I said.

"What?!" My best friend cried. I took out Mandy's miniskirt with a flourish. "Melissa, you didn't-."

But before she was able to finish her sentence, I cut her off.  "I did!" I giggled. "It's Mandy's skirt."

I slipped off my shoes. "Melissa, are you actually taking off your pants?" Mary-Kay cried. A bunch of heads turned around, but most of them were boys.

"Mary-Kay, relax. I'm just slipping on the skirt." I stuffed the jeans into my backpack and slipped back on Adidas sneakers.

"You couldn't have waited until we got to school?" Asked Mary-Kay.

"No. I'm not taking a chance with anyone that knows my sister seeing it."

"Melissa, isn't your sister having a party this weekend?"

"Yes. She, Vicki Southwell, and Sam Burgess are planning it."

"Isn't Sam just gorgeous?" Asked Mary-Kay, with a dreamy smile on her face.

"Yes, he is, but I like a new guy in school."

"Who? Melissa, you've got to tell me who!" Mary-Kay exclaimed as she shook me by my shoulders.

"His name is Todd Taylor." I grinned.

"Oh yeah, I've seen him. His little sister, Karyn, is friends with my little sister, Lara." Mary-Kay said, as the school bus pulled into the school parking lot.

As we got down to the last step, we found one of our other friends, Carrie Randall, waiting on us. "So, Mel," Carrie began, as she smirked at me.

"What is it, Carrie?" I asked, as we walked in the school doors.
