The weekend arrived, Bill and Isabelle already excited to see their friends. While they had spent a lot of time together within the few days that followed Isabelle's return from the hospital after the battle, visits had been rare since, with rebuilding and Auror meetings. Not only were Bill and Isabelle invited to the get together, but so were the rest of the Weasley family and Fleur. The couple was up early that morning to cook what they were to bring to the lunch, and they were nearly finished, Lyra watching them while she played with the last bits of mushed carrots in her high chair.
"What are you making?" they heard Eleanor ask as she joined them in the kitchen.
"Tonks asked us to bring salad, since I had so many vegetables still in the garden," Isabelle said.
"You know you don't have to go if you aren't feeling up to it," Bill added.
"I don't mind," Eleanor said, grabbing a cloth to wipe some food off of Lyra's face. "Unless you want me to stay here with Lyra."
"My mum will kill all of us if we don't bring her along," Bill chuckled.
They noticed a hint of a smile on Eleanor's face. "Mrs. Weasley is a bit scary, isn't she?"
Isabelle laughed. "Just a bit."
Eventually, they agreed they would all be going, Eleanor included, and were soon dressed and ready to go. They would be flooing, now that the systems were reconnected, since apparating still made Lyra cry. Lyra, of course, was dressed up in the cutest outfit, with a dress with a sunflower pattern and a matching hat for the season.
When they arrived in the living room of Andromeda Tonks's house, where they had been staying since the war to comfort each other over the loss of Ted Tonks, they were greeted by Remus to take them out into the yard where lunch was being set up after explaining that he was sent inside by Andromeda to welcome guests and be out of the way, since her clumsy daughter was more than enough to handle while getting the yard ready.
Outside in the garden, a long table was set up with many chairs and dishes of food, much like the lunch and dinner parties the Weasleys often held at the Burrow, and most were already there. Molly and Arthur helping set out more food on the tables with Sirius and Andromeda while everyone else chatted. Harry and Hermione were there, too, with Ron and Ginny, the two couples talking with Fred, George, and Lee. In another area, Percy, Charlie, and Tonks, with Teddy in her arms, were chatting with Fleur and Daniel.
"I still don't know how I feel about the two of them," Bill said to Isabelle quietly, earning a laugh from her.
"As long as they are happy, I suppose."
While Bill, followed by Eleanor, went to put down the salad bowl they brought and ask his parents if they needed any extra help, Isabelle went straight to the group of older wizards, where Fleur was telling them about the different muggle things that Daniel had introduced her to.
"There she is," Charlie said, his face lighting up when he saw Lyra in her arms, immediately rushing over to take the baby into his own.
"Good to see you, too, Charlie," Isabelle said sarcastically, letting him take Lyra from her.
"You should have never made him godfather," Tonks laughed.
The baby in Tonks's arms was fast asleep, his hair now a bright orange color to reflect all of the people who he must have been awake to see when they arrived.
"How's Teddy?" Isabelle asked, lowering her voice after realizing he was sleeping.
"Doing really well," Tonks said. "He's getting better with sitting up now. Another month or so he should be able to do it on his own, and then he and Lyra can have little dinner dates."
