Brian and his sisters were getting ready for the first day of their schools. Brian was going to his first day of eighth grade, Emma to sixth, and their little twin sisters, Ana and Ivy (characters that are only cannon in like one version of the childish dad series on YouTube I think) were getting ready for pre-k.

Their little brothers, one year old Joshua (Josh for short) and two year old Liam (characters that I made up), were going to be dropped off at daycare by their mother, Catherine, on her way to work.

"I can't wait for me and Ana's first day of school!" Ivy said excitedly.

"Yes, the first day of pre-k is always exciting for children your age, I remember when I was four, just like you two, and going for the first time, it was so much fun. Good times." Brian said, thinking back to his early childhood days and how he loved them.

"Look, Brian. It's almost about time when the bus comes and picks us up, we better get going to the bus stop." Emma brought up.

"Oh yes, we better get going!" He said. "Mom, Emma and I are going to leave for school!" He called out, technically, Ana and Ivy weren't going to school yet since the pre-k and preschool bus wasn't coming yet.

"Okay, Brian. You kids have fun at school." Catherine responded from the kitchen.

And with that, Brian and Emma got to the bus stop and eventually got on the bus to middle school.

Eventually Brian and Emma were parting ways at the school to go to their classes.

When Brian got to his class he greeted his teacher, Ms. Kendra, and sat in his assigned seat. His seat was next to a girl with dirty blonde hair in two ponytails on each side of her head, she was also wearing a navy blue tank top and a red skirt.

He felt a bit bad for the girl cause she was sitting next to Tom and Joey, two boys that bully him. He sensed a hint of melancholy from her.

'Maybe those two bullies were giving her a hard time.' He thought.

He decided to talk to her, and maybe even befriend her. "Hi, I'm Brian. What's your name."

The girl snapped out of spacing out and looked and the boy. "Oh hi, I'm Stephanie, nice to meet you."

That's when Brian then decided to ask. "Are you okay? I noticed that you seemed a bit down."

Stephanie lied and said. "No, I'm fine. Just a bit tired."

"Oh okay. Also, you seem nice. You wanna be friends?" Brian asked.

As much as she tried to contain it, Stephanie's face lit up at the idea of having a friend, especially with someone like Brian. Everyone at school avoided her like the plague and bullied her because of false rumors that her siblings who hated her would spread. The only friend she ever had was her best friend Lucy, that was until she moved away and they lost contact.

Anyway, Stephanie decided to answer Brian's question with a. "Yes, absolutely!"

"Well, that's great. Want to meet after school sometime this week?" Brian asked.

"Sure, let's go to your house though." Stephanie added, little did Brian know that the reason she didn't want them to go to her house was because he didn't want him to know how bad it was for her.

"Well okay then, let's exchange numbers so we can talk after school too." Brian suggested.

Stephanie was thrilled with how fast she and Brian were becoming friends. "Alright."

And with that, they were going to meet up this Friday at Brian's house to hang out.
