Over the next few days, Amai and Tom continued to hang out, and Amai found herself enjoying his company more and more. They went to museums, and restaurants, and Amai felt like she was getting to know Tom all over again. She started to develop feelings for him again, but she was scared of getting hurt. She had been heartbroken before, and she didn't want to go through that again. One night, as they were walking by the beach, Tom took Amai's hand and told her how much he had missed her. Amai felt a rush of emotion, and she knew that she had to be honest with him. She told him that she was scared of getting hurt again, but Tom promised her that he would never do anything to hurt her. They hugged each other, and Amai felt like she had finally found someone who understood her.

Tom and Amai went to a fancy restaurant, and Amai was dressed in a long fitted black dress with small white heels and a mini white handbag. As they were leaving the restaurant, Tom took Amai's hand and kissed her gently on the lips. Amai felt like she was floating on air.

Tom took Amai home, and they spent the night together. They watched the sunset from Amai's balcony, and Tom held her close. Amai wore bell bottom jeans and a simple green tube top, while Tom wore baggy jeans and a crewneck. They arrived at the interview, and Amai felt nervous. She had never been good at interviews, and she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Tom.

As Tom and Amai walked into the interview together, holding hands, Amai noticed Tom's gold rings again. She played with them absentmindedly, feeling the weight of the metal on her fingertips. Tom noticed what she was doing and smiled at her. He knew that she was nervous, and he wanted to make her feel better. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, telling her that she looked beautiful. As they sat down for the interview, Tom placed his arm around Amai's waist. She leaned into him, feeling safe and secure. When they were asked about their relationship, they both replied that they were taking it slow. They didn't want to rush into anything, and they wanted to make sure that they were both on the same page. The interviewer nodded, satisfied with their answer, and the interview ended. As they walked out of the building, hand in hand, Amai felt grateful for Tom's support. She knew that they had a lot of work to do, but she also knew that they could do it together. After Tom dropped Amai off at home, she called Enya to tell her about how things went. Enya listened intently and told Amai to be careful this time, but she was also happy for her. Amai felt grateful for Enya's support, and she knew that she could always count on her. They talked for a bit longer, and then Amai said goodbye.
