river's pov
When I see Amaya my heart starts beating so fast it's like a heart attack. Her hair and eyes shimmer in the golden sun light. Slowly I work up the confidence to sit next to her. 'you know those people you said left you once they heard your story are fools to leave an amazing person like you in your time of need. honest.' I vow to her.
Slowly I see a smile creep on to her face. 'Thanks you don't know how much that means to me to hear that from you.' she extends her arms to give me a hug. At first I was shocked then quickly I hugged her back to let her know that I would be there for her no matter what.

I don't know what came over me but it felt like I had to hug him to prove in some sort of way that him saying that truely meant a lot to me. After a couple of moments I realised I needed to let go otherwise I would be at risk of making the moment awkward, so gently I pulled my arms back already missing the warmth from his body. The early morning wind was out to get me sick or something I hope it doesn't blow out my hair style, that took a lot of effort. 'anyway I just saw the time and i'm sorry I have to get my stuff for class. But see you later?' I asked.
He replied with a small nod and smile that was adorable.
