I have this head-canon of her dad being a lumberjack and just finding baby Aurora and the Quest Book in the woods, then choosing to grow her as his own daughter to protect her from the prophecy. BUT also he lies about Aurora having a mom and being adopted so he makes up this mom drag-sona that is just him but dressed girly and just lies saying she died.
