coloured sticky notes are my favourite, who would ever want those god-forsaken yellow ones all around them?

they make my eyes itch.

Hermione was never one to complain, she would silently roll her eyes or make a mental note of what to think about later while she did her daily ritual of suffocating in her bathtub. However, having Ronald Weasley in her group for the attack was something that she would like to complain about now.

Hermione was fully trained in the Occlumency department, she travelled with a wizard, a very high-up wizard, to learn anything her greedy hands could grasp onto. She's even become quite a trained Legilimens, being taught by a skilled wizard helped her reach great lengths of success. Hermione bounced around from tutor to tutor, anyone who was willing to help her prepare for war and anything that came with it, she trained in combat, healing, and of course occlumency. Potions were something she was still learning, she knew the ups and downs of every book on healing potions though, but when it came to potions that could harm another, Hermione was at a loss.

she plopped her thumb back into the hole of her shirt, earning a few stares from the men standing across from her, dumbfounded looks laid upon her while they questioned how good Hermione looked in uniform. She shook her head at them, waving her hand in front of their greedy eyes trying to get another look, they stood stunned. Hermione gripped her wand a little tighter when Ronald finally rounded the corner after being around ten minutes late, Hermione mentally sighed, not letting a real one escape her lips, she guided the group forward towards the attack site.

Hermione, Ronald, Luna, Neville, Dean, and Seamus.

That is the group of wizards and witches that Kingsley supposed would be enough to take on this large attack, what an idiot.

Hermione swallowed her thoughts, turning to the bunch of bloody idiots behind her.

"Alright. We're splitting into twos. Ron and Neville, Dean and Seamus, and Luna you'll be with me." she nodded at them hoping it would end there but frustratingly it didn't.

"I would much rather be with Luna!" Neville blurted out, he was playing with his hands, nervous about what was to come.

"No. No, I'm not doing this right now. We are already 10 minutes behind." her glare painted her face as she sent it in Ron's direction. "I just told you the groups, don't make me tell you lot again, now, sod off."

The group scrambled into their pairs before making their way to the planned spots, Luna stood beside Hermione grinning,
What a right nutter.

Carnage was the only thing that could explain the sight before her eyes, they have been fighting off multiple Death Eaters for around thirty minutes now, to no avail, it seemed like they just kept coming.

Dean was hit with a powerful burning curse, his body ignited with flames almost instantly, it took Seamus a minute to even realise his best friend was slowly turning to ash and another minute to cast a big enough water spell to put out the flames engulfing his entire body.

Ron and Neville were doing surprisingly well, they fought off many Death Eaters which looked almost easy for them, which it was, they were fighting the lowest-ranked ones.

She was holding her weight, However, Luna was starting to struggle to keep them off of her which caused Hermione to pick off some of the Death Eaters that were closing in on her, Hermione felt a small wind of Deja Vu wash over her, she did something she's never done in battle before, she froze.

Unable to move, watching another one of her friends be hit with a green spell that would sadly end their life within seconds, falling limp onto the ground. Hermione's ears started ringing, the blood of pure anger and weirdly, sadness. It was rushing back up to her head, she almost let out a blood-curdling yell of her own if she wasn't snapped out of her thoughts by Neville's war cry, his love, now dead on the floor in front of him.

Neville never stopped yelling, running down the hill towards the scene, wand pointed at the group of Death Eaters standing in pure confusion about where the yelling was coming from originally.

"AVADA KEDAVRA" Neville growled, a green light emitting from the tip of his wand planting it right in the chest of a Death Eater. Neville spun around before casting another unforgivable at the other one before he even had a chance to react to his fellow Death Eater falling at his feet.

Neville fell to his knees in front of Luna's small limp body, he gradually went gone to the world around him as soon as he grabbed her cold hands. When more Death Eaters began to show, Neville gripped his wand and Luna's hand tighter before apparating out of the field, Seamus then took the opportunity to carefully haul his friend back into the forest behind them.

A couple of Death Eaters with silver masks strode out of the cloud of black smoke, oh and a white mask. Ron locked eyes with her for a moment before he cowardly apparated away. Hermione's eyes snapped back to the Death Eaters now in front and behind her.

As she tried to apparate herself away from this mess, "Expelliarmus" a low voice growled from in front of her. "Oohhh! A little time to play house! Granger, love, would you wanna play mummy?" a tall man danced around her, clearly having fun.

"With you? Not a fucking chance." she spat, backing away from the group.

Hands gripped her shoulders, another Death Eater took the chance to bind her in robes that burned when she tried to escape them.

"Tisk tisk. Now why won't you play house with me? I'm only being nice!" he sighed, poking Hermione on the nose. "Boop!"

Earning another giggle from the bloody idiot in front of her, she wondered how someone from Voldemort's Army could act so careless, he was cracking jokes at a time like this? Hermione scoffed, another voice blurted out from behind her. "You boys caught The Golden Girl?" he gripped Hermione's hair, yanking her head back to get a better look at their new prisoner.

"Ah, my dear friend! I believe Granger is to be our new toy!" he clapped his hands, Hermione could feel the grin that planted itself on the Death Eaters' face.

She cleared her throat, causing a few heads to turn in her direction. "Are we going to stand here all day and have this complete bafoon dance happily at my capture?" she held her chin high, she wasn't scared of anything to come. Hermione has proudly prepared herself for being captured by any of these sodding idiots. "I mean, it's a lovely show and all, but I would like to get this over with if you don't mind." she rolled her eyes, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

"You think my performance was lovely?" he clapped once again, "ah, I guess she does quite have a point!" he pointed his wand at her forehead before giving her a small wave, "Nighty night sweetheart!"

Everything went dark.
