Gemini's POV

"You... I like you Gem..."
That one sentence... It was just a sentence that he said and I'm not able to understand what to do....

He was holding my hands, I was frozen at my place. To be honest... This wasn't something I ever wanted. I've realised a fact that Fourth's presence have done something in my life but I never wanted him to be this close of me... At the stage that he started liking me... And now I don't know how I am gonna respond to this. I don't know if I've been this hurt because of Love or Fourth, I'm so confused right now.... Actually, I think the feeling of hatred is gonna work... I just have to pretend that whatever he said has done nothing to me and I'm not gonna accept him at any cost after whatever he has done to me.

Tears rolled down my eyes... My emotions were making me weaker than I already am... Somehow I gathered myself and finally held a courage to speak.

"I... I hate you..." I sobbed.

His hands travelled through my hands to my cheeks. Slightly wiping off my tears and making me feel his warmth.

"Hate me all you want for now... But I'll make sure you'll fall head over heels for me" he said with a smile.

I don't know if I'm confident enough to say it out loud but still I did, "that was the last time... I won't fall in your trap again". I said while pushing him away from me.

He wasn't forcing me to be close to him at all. Just with a smile on his face, he pulled me closer to him by holding my waist and kept his head on my shoulder.

"I know what I've done... But trust me I've never intended to harm you in anyway. I agreed to help you with Love because I was actually seeing you as a very good friend of mine". He said being in a same position.

I didn't push him away this time...

"A very good friend? Huh... If you've ever thought of me as a friend then you wouldn't hurt me like that, Fourth! A good friend can sacrifice their life for the other one just to make sure that his friend is happy... But what you did to me and after what you just said... Do you think things are making sense right now?" I said.

He groaned, "I know it isn't.... But I want to apologise. Can you give me a chance to prove myself to you? I've never asked for anything to anyone but you Gem. Can I ask for a chance to show how much I love you? Can I apologise to you for everything I did to you... Will you forgive me?"

The way he asked for a chance... My pack of emotions were going to explode soon.

"I don't have anything to say. Fourth, right now I can't help but think about everything you've done for me.. and that's why I'm trying but not able to hate you. You said that whatever you've done wasn't intentional right? Then okay I'll trust you". I said.

"Really? You trust me Gem". He held my hands again and rested his eyes on it.

"Don't get your hopes up, Khun Fourth" I said with a smirk. "If you want a chance... Don't beg for it, put some efforts and earn it"

A sigh of relief passed through his mouth and with a smile on his face he said, "I'll give my best to earn my chance... Thank you Gem"

He opened his arms and came closer to hug me but I stopped him. He accepted it that I'm not ready to be close to him again and he gave me my space.
