I remember the day you died i remember how hard i cried i cant think of memories their all gone but something inside died you took my energy away and turned my world black i wish i could see you and bring it all back the day of your funeral i got all dressed up i know you would be proud of how i looked as everyone throws a flower i hide mine as everyone walks away i say your favorite prayer i cried cried and cried and wish i could hug you one last time as i let each petal fall i know im all alone now i sing your favorite song in hopes your still just playing along i sing the black bird song hoping this is all a dream i drift where i hoped we'd never stopped singing
