"Oh so you took Y/N for me? How was she? Well?" Doctor Han asked the following day, looking through his printed files of his patients he had missed out on, looking over to Doctor Chan.

Chan nodded slightly, his head resting on his hand. "She just came for her meds, as she usually does with you. She was sick though. Pneumonia, I think, but you can check that if you check her files. She's coming back to see me in two weeks time." He explained, as Han furrowed his brow.

"You should've made her second appointment with me. I'm her doctor, after all." Han said, standing up as he flipped the clipboard closed.

"It didn't seem appropriate, saying you didn't diagnose her." Doctor Chan said, tapping his pen slightly as he scribbled some things down, before checking the time.

"Yes, but," Han started, before sighing, "actually, never mind. Just look after her."
"Of course I will, that's our job." Chan said, standing up as he picked up his files, walking off.

A slight smile sat on his lips.
"Not your patient anymore, Han." He whispered, heading back to his office.

Two weeks had passed as I sat back in the waiting room, the coughing had long since subsided, and my fever long gone, but I was still required to come back anyways.

"Ms L/N." Doctor Chan smiled, as he stood in the hallway. I stood up, bowing, before following him to his office again.

I took a seat before he told me too, as he just smiled.
"You seem to be doing a lot better. I'm glad, truly." He said, as I smiled.

"Yes, the medicine helped a lot, so I don't think I need a repeat or anything, so thank you once again." I said, going to stand up again, but before I could he rolled his chair in front of me, patting my shoulder to sit me back down.

"Can I just listen to your chest again, just to be sure?" Chan asked, as I nodded, pulling my shirt forward as he placed the end of the stethoscope against my chest, humming.
He pulled back. "Well, it's definitely better than last time."

A knock sounded on the door as he furrowed his brow, standing up and opening the door.

"Oh Doctor Han, can I help you?" Chan asked, as Han smiled, pushing him to the side as he stepped inside.

I smiled up at him, as I tucked my shirt back in.
"I was just looking for some more prescription paper, I know they keep them in here." Han said, waving at me quietly as he went and looked in Chan's drawers, who stopped him in an instant.

"They're not in there, look, hold on, they're in the room next door, I'll go get them." Chan said, stepping out, so that it was just me and Han.

I just looked at him, smiling.

"Ah, Y/N, how are you feeling?" He asked, leaning against the bed.
I stood up and bowed. "Great, thank you! Doctor Chan is very helpful, you know. I was lucky I had him. How are you? You were sick, correct?"

Han sighed. "Yeah, something like that. I feel better now, though, thank you for asking, Y/N. When your prescription runs out again, come back to me, yeah? I'll keep a spot open for you." He winked this last part, as Chan came back in, holding a prescription pad for him, which Han took, and left without another word.

Chan turned back to me. "Well, is there anything else bothering you? May as well get use out of the appointment, I suppose."

"Ah, not really.." I said slowly, thinking for a second.

"Ah, actually, I don't know if you can, but my roommate needs a new repeat? He's too busy to come to the doctors. Felix Lee. Little blue pills. Look him up on the system." I asked, as Doctor Chan narrowed his eyes as he furrowed his brow.

"Well, I'm not supposed too, Y/N. Does Doctor Han do this?" He asked, as I just blinked at him.

Yes, Han did, but if he's not meant to, then I'll get him in trouble.

Chan tilted his head in my silence, before sighing.

"Actually, don't worry, I'll print the repeat for you. I'm assuming he's a good friend of yours, yes?" Doctor Chan asked, typing on his computer as he looked Felix up, finding the pills and printing a repeat prescription, passing it to me.

"Yeah, he's been my friend since high school, so that's why we're roommates. He's in culinary arts school at the moment, so he's quite busy." I said, as Doctor Chan made an 'ah' sound.

"So he wants to be a chef? That doesn't pay very well, does it?" Chan asked, typing something else up as he spoke.

I frowned. "He enjoys it, so it doesn't matter how much he's paid. Our rent isn't that pricey, so it doesn't matter."

"Well, yes, I'm aware of that," Chan said, glancing up at me, "but-"

I cut him off as politely as I could.

"Doctor Chan, please don't overstep, you're my doctor, and nothing more. Thank you for the check up, and your concerns, but I think I'm done here, I don't wish to waste anymore of your time." I said quickly, standing up and bowing as I left.

Chan just watched after me, as he crushed the pen in his hand, snapping it in half.

"Fuck, I overstepped.. no worries, it's fine.."
