The night had long since begun, yet Sodo found himself unable to sleep. Granted, this happened fairly often, but not after a set like the one they'd had tonight. Usually he'd pass out almost immediately after getting back to the ministry and stripping off his gear. Unlucky fucking night for him, huh?
He mumbled a slew of curse words as he got up, feeling every muscle in his body ache with the movement but persevering anyways. He sat on the edge of the bed for a bit, eyebrows furrowed and hands poised at his sides before he hoisted himself up. He grunted as he did so, the cold linoleum floor not making the situation any more pleasant. "Fuck it, i'm up now," he muttered, feeling a rasp in his voice as he did so. He needed water.
The short man opened his door and stepped out, not really giving a fuck if the sound of it slamming against the wall woke anybody else up. If he was awake they all may as well be too. Now, while this thought crossed his mind, it wasn't genuine- and he felt a slight stab of remorse as he heard another door creak open. He glanced to his side, waiting a moment before seeing Rain tiredly turn the corner.
"The hell are you up for?" the other man asked, his voice gravelly. Fuck, he had woken him up. Sodo looked at him for a moment, considering apologizing before deciding he didn't care enough to.
"Can't sleep," was all he said, not waiting for another word before turning and heading towards the kitchen. The initial shock of the cold floors had gone away, but the draft in the building was starting to replace it. This place fucking sucked.
"Don't fucking blow me off like that," he heard the taller speak again, his voice starting almost faint before quickly rising in volume as he entered the room. The two men glared at each other for a moment, with Rain's gaze softening first. He was usually quiet and not very confrontational, so Sodo had expected it from him. "Sorry. It's just been a long night, and being woken up isn't exactly a party."
Sodo chuckled to himself, nodding and turning away to get water. "Yeah well, shit happens, huh?" He teased, wanting to see if he could genuinely get rain riled up. He'd annoyed him during rituals on numerous occasions , but never had he been as snappy as he was being now. It was honestly exciting, and it gave him something to do, right?
The taller man sighed, taking a slow breath before responding. "Yeah, shit happens." He replied. His tone sounded calm, and to an untrained ear they'd probably think he was, but Sodo knew better. He heard the way his band mates teeth were gritted, and this fact only encouraged him to continue.
"I think if I can't sleep, nobody should," he continued, finally leaning forward to fill his glass in the sink, "I mean, shit, maybe i'll start making as much noise as possible to wake them up!" He ended his statement with a laugh, though it was cut off as he felt the other ghouls presence directly behind him. Actually, it was more than his presence- he could feel the heat resonating off his taller bandmate.
"You wanna make more noise?" Rain asked, placing one hand next to Sodo on the counter and allowing the other to drift to his waist. He was tired, honestly horny as fuck and bored. Why not fuck around a little?
Alright, this wasn't where he'd anticipated this going; he'd expected the man to get all pissy and storm off. Not to pull a very Sodo like move.
"You want me to make noise for you?" The shorter ghoul teased, straightening his back and leaning into Rain. He had to back down soon, there was no way he would be so ballsy.
Rain didn't back down, however, and instead trailed his hand down sodo's abdomen and let it rest on the front of his thigh. "And if i said yes?" he asked, brushing a single finger against his bandmates groin, "what would you say then?"
Sodo felt his face flush immediately, his gaze flicking down as he felt the ghost of a touch. Was that real? Surely it wasn't. He moved to turn his head away, but was met with a firm hand gripping his jaw and turning his head back.
