The two of you had a wonderful time at the cafe, although your brain was a bit exhausted from her intricately detailed descriptions and anecdotes of H:SR. You suggested that perhaps she loved the game a bit *too* much and she jokingly twitched her eye. "No I don't, grrr" she hysterically growled and frowned, then burst out into laughter. You joined her in laughing, and the two of you had a fun walk over to Barnes & NOOOOO. where did it GOOOOOO. (PLS TELL ME YOU GET THIS REFERENCE)
"Let's make a bet" you suggested as you approached the outer edge of the parking lot.
"Whoever makes it to the door last is a rotten egg and has to buy the other one 5 books of their choice." And with that the two of you sprinted for the door, Sophia beating you by just 2 seconds.

"Damn, beaten by my own bet" You kicked an invisible rock on the ground, feigning frustration, then chuckled. You guys went inside the store and Sophia immediately ran towards the manga section.
You watched in a mix of horror and astonishment at the speed of which she selected various volumes from Neon Genesis, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Kakegurui.
"Someone knows what she wants" you said with a sarcastic smirk.
"Yes I do" she laughed. You picked out some books for yourself, and you went and paid for them.
"Glad I didn't have to pay on the first date" She said as you walked out.
She held your hand with her left and her bag of books with her right. You were going to ask if this was really a date, but it seemed that question had already been answered.
"Oo it's a bit chilly right now" she complained with the wind blowing her hair all over her face.
You smoothed her hair out and draped your jacket over her. (Inspired by a part of her fic about me which you should read bc it's so totally awesome) She blushed a little bit. "Aw, thank you." She smiled. You could have looked at her face forever in the last bit of evening sunlight, but the two of you had to be heading home. You took hold of her hand again and walked her back to her house.
