Chapter 6 Pranks R Us

3rd POV

Ben had his face pressed against the glass, making a stupid face at the kid in the car next to them, who was making a stupid face back.

"I'd warn you that your face might freeze like that, but in your case, it would be an improvement." Gwen said.

"What are you talking about Gwen? That's what he normally looks like." Y/n said.

The kid turned away and turned back, showing off a half chewed sandwich in his mouth.

"Ohh, man. The seafood special. Time to pull out the secret weapon."

Ben bent down so the kid couldn't see and activates the Omnitrix. He jumped back out roaring and snarling as Stinkfly. 

The kids was so stunned he didn't noticed his sandwich slip off his tongue. He screamed, making his dad look over and scream as well and put his foot on the gas.

Stinkfly fell over laughing. Gwen and Y/n looked down at him.

"There's is such a thing as 'taking a joke too far', you know." Gwen said.

"I mean, it wasn't that bad. He just traumatized a kid and his father for the rest of their lives." Y/n said.

Gwen sighed and was about to sit down when Stinkfly shot out some stink sap right on her seat.

Stinkfly and Y/n laughed as Gwen glared down at him, "Impossible. Funny is funny."

"Ben, Y/n, get up here."

The RV screeched to halt, sending Stinkfly flying to the front.

"Oh, good. You're all ready to go. We got trouble ahead." Grandpa Max said.

Up ahead, a propane truck was overturned, spilling out propane onto a fire as the driver was desperately banging on his window, "Help!" he screamed.

"The door's stuck! He can't get out!"

"If that propane he's hauling catches fire, that truck will become a rocket to the moon."

"You take care of the fire, I'll take save the driver." Stinkfly told Y/n as he burst out the door.

Y/n activated his Omnitrix and transforms into Sub-Zero. He floated through the roof and began blasting ice, extinguishing the fire. Stinkfly landed on the truck and used his tail to carve a hole in the ceiling and pried it open. 

The driver screamed as Stinkfly picked him up and flew into the air. "Another job done." the alien proclaimed as he landed and put the driver down.

"Aaah! It's the monster that ate that kid!" the kid from earlier screamed.

"Wow, look at the time. Gotta fly!" Stinkfly said hastily and flew off.

They looked over at Sub-Zero. "Peace out." he said as he made a peace sign and disappeared.

They were continuing along the road.

"You'll have a ball with it! Next exit." Gwen read aloud a passing sign.

"Come on, Grandpa. At least give us a hint of what IT is." Ben pleaded.

"At least give a vague idea." Y/n said.

"Uh-uh. No hints. I've been planning this stop all summer." Grandpa Max said excitedly.

They eventually came to a stop.

"Now, all of you, close your eyes." Grandpa Max told him.

They closed his eyes and stepped out of the Rust Bucket.
