Sapnap heard George scream. He jumped up, but then Dream teakettle noises reached his ears and he relaxed. Dream probably just pranked George by sneaking up behind him like he tried to do to Sapnap.
You'd think he'd know not to do that in a survival game.Sapnap had almost stabbed him to death when he tried that on him. From the sound of it, George had weaker reflexes. Sapnap smirked.
He was mining gold nuggets. Dream wanted them to go ahead and trade before they looked for a fortress, so they could maybe get fire resistance before the dangerous Nether travel.
As he mined, Sapnap wondered what potions would feel like. Steroids, I guess. That'll be fun. I wonder if we'll brew strength and stuff for the dragon. We should definitely get slow falling. That's just feathers right?
Eh, it's fine, I bet Dream has the whole chart memorised.Sapnap made a quick crafting table to see how many ingots he could make. He noticed he was running low on wood and made a mental note to get some more from the warped trees. Good thing I'm such a capable Minecraft player.
Something snorted and he tensed, but it was just a piglin. He watched carefully as it wandered past, crossbow hanging down, but it didn't see him. He reached up to double-check his gold helmet. It was there.
The gold helmets looked less funny than the iron ones, but still a little.. odd. They were smooth and completely round except for a little spike like an arrowhead coming out the top.
Sapnap was about to meet up with the other two, but another vein of gold nuggets caught his eye and temptation led him away.
The Nether was sweltering. They were in a red warped forest near the portal. It was weird and kind of musty. The vines drooped in his face and the netherrack had a mossy red covering like a spongy carpet. He was at the edge of the biome where it turned into the old plain Nether and the new, forest-y part vanished. His iron boots clinked on the ground as he walked over to the wall.
Sapnap had always imagined netherrack as hard and solid, but in reality it felt soft and malleable, like the hell version of clay. I guess it makes sense because of how insta-mine it is.
He finished gathering the nuggets and met up with Dream and George.
They laughed at his helmet again, but whatever. It hides the space buns.
Sapnap was not a fan of the space buns. They had enough gold to start trading, so they found a group of snorty pig guys and trapped them in a little pit, normal bartering stuff.
Then they were just sitting around waiting.
Sapnap was bored.
There wasn't much to do, besides gathering blocks.
They got lots of blocks.
And more blocks.
And everything was slow and boring.
They were there for a long time.
George made a little platform of the various blocks they got for the gold as they waited for pearls.
Some was crying obsidian, some quartz, some Nether brick. He laid down on it and rested his head on his backpack.Dream was placing gravel in a column and mining it down for flint.
Sapnap spotted some shiny boots in the piglin hole and hopped down to snatch them.
"Soul speed, nice!"
