He drove up looking angry, his curly black hair moving in the wind. Struggling to get out of his truck he broke the window. Those knuckles of his doesn't only break glass, but the bones in my face and arms. He was once known as Reggie, Reggie D Dunkins but now he is known as Bruce. If it wasn't the many stitches i had received i'll still been known as Sasha, the free spirit girl of the west.

He approached me on the porch, stopped then walked off into the house, the scent of liquor trailed behind. In the house you could hear his heavy footsteps fading as he ascended the stairs. Suddenly there was a loud bang, like someone had just threw a glass into the wall. He ran back down the stairs and grabbed me by my long thick curly black hair. With all my might i tried to fight him off but all that screaming was just adding more gas to a raging flame.

This had been the third time we fought in a week and it always end with me in tears and blood. When he was pleased by his damage, he went outside and drove off in his truck to think. How i know these things is because it always end this way. Knowing he would return in a couple of hours i decided i could no longer take this. Remembering every word my momma said when i was young 'girl you better no be seeing that boy he is not good for you' . Running away had come in my mind many times but today am finding the courage to pull through.

Quickly grabbing a bag i had set down for this day, the day my courage found me. Walking out the door felt good until a sudden sick feeling came over me. Running into the bathroom to pour out my heart, soul and stomach. I glimpsed the pregnancy test i took an hour ago before he came. Looking at it it stated positive. To my terror i stood still for a moment not believing my eyes. I was pregnant for him, my mortal devil the cause of my nightmares.I heard a truck in the distance which shook me out of my sentimental state. The last thing i remembered was grabbing my bag and running far away. "well that was a long time ago and he can never hurt you anymore. Not you nor our two sons, for as your husband i will love and protect you with every fiber in my body," Shaun said boastfully .

It had been four years now since we were married. After meeting him for the first time in a diner were i worked to feed both my unborn child and I. He swept me off my feet with one look. Now were married and happy. The next day i had to travel out of state on a business trip. I had left the kids home with Shaun and was well on my way when my car broke down in a town called Folkson. Having to spent the night there i stayed in a motel. Unfortunately for me the motel manager was a well known friend of Bruce whom I've never seen for the four years since i disappeared. I would have left immediately but that was the only motel in a five miles radius.

After briefly chatting with him i collected my key and walked to my room in fear, hoping Bruce is not in this town. I had never felt more afraid or in fear for my life like how am feeling right now in a long time. After calling to check on the boys in tried to get some sleep but it doesnt work. Looking on the clock it said 2:45am. Closing my eyes determine to get some rest i was fully awaken by a strange knock at the door. I had no clue as to who it maybe and what they wanted. Quickly i turned on the light the made my way to the door looking through the peeping hole. To my surprise it was the hotel manager, Steve. So i opened the door just a little to ask what was wrong. Before i could finish Bruce kicked the door fully open. Fright instantly took over my body, all i could do was just stand still and looked.
