Kayla pov

I got out of bed, went to the balcony and I took a breath in an out. Right now I can't explain how I feel...

As Christian was done, I took a spare towel and went straight to the bathroom, I bushed my teeth using the spare toothbrush.

I stripped my clothes off and went in the shower, I started to cry, just let it all out. After that I done my hygiene and dried myself.

I moisturise my body and I wore Christian's jumper and leggings with vans also the necklace that my mum gave to me on my 5th birthday then, I shoved it in my jumper.

I grabbed by bag jogged, downstairs.
I walk in with Chris giving me a small smile, I gave him back. we walked out hand in hand and got in his car, it was a silent ride but it was comfortable. We stopped at a random cafe and we bought some smoothies and sat down...

Chris - are you okay?

Me - I'm fine, but I just don't feel like myself right now.

Chris - you can't hide your emotions like this, there's times that you have to let it out.

I closed my eyes.

Chris - so what do see when you think of your mom

Me - I see me with my dad and mum, the holidays the great times we had, I was smiling when all those memories flash. until I remember me running away abandoning my mums body and me waking up finding her dead.

I had a massive lump in throat and tear fell. Chris sat next to me and hugged me as tight as he can my head was laying on his chest, the lump stopped me from breathing properly. I started wheezing trying to breathe.

Me - Chris I can't breathe can't breathe.
I said quickly, Chris acted fast and he looked for my inhaler.

Chris - I can't find it

I saw my vision getting darker, voices started to fade.

Chris - baby hold on...

And that was the last thing I hear...

Christian's pov

I called the ambulance and when I hung up Kayla passed out ; I tried waking her up it didn't work

After 5 minutes they came, first they asked me when did Kayla passed out and checked if her hearts still breathing.

Paramedic 1 - she's still alive and she needs to get to hospital right away her heart is starting to slow down.

Paramedic 2 - okay lu, put her on the stretcher and put her a oxygen mask.

Paramedic 3 - got it.

They put her on stretcher gave her the mask and took her in the ambulance. I going to go in but one of them stopped me.

Paramedic 2 - are you her family

Me - yes I'm her boyfriend

P 2 - come on then.

I got in, sat down and held Kayla's hand, until we got to the hospital they took Kayla to check her up.
I decide to call Kylie first.

Calling Kylie

Kylie - hello?

Me - Kayla's in hospital

Kylie - wait, what, how, why?!?

Me - I got no time to explain just call the rest of your family got to go

End of call

I went to check on Kayla to see how she's doing.
I sat down praying that she'll be okay ; doctor came out with a clipboard in his hands.

Doctor - Makayla Rae Jenner?

Me - yep

Doctor - she's fine but we had to
Flush the blood out of her lungs. She's been recently using inhaler right?

Me - yes

Doctor - okay she has to take it for a week, so three times a day.

Me - okay thank you doctor.
Can I go and see her?

Doctor - yes and tell her next week she has an appointment with me in 2 days.

Me - okay thank you again

I walk in to see Kayla already awake and in tears.

Me - hey baby what's wrong

I sat beside her holding her hand.

Kayla pov

Nurse - okay sweetheart I got good news and bad news.

Me - ( croaks ) good news please

Nurse - your lungs are fine and the bad news is that...

After the nurse left Christian came in.

Christian - hey baby what's wrong?

Me - I- I - I've got cancer

Christian - but the doctor told me you were alright.

Me - they thought it was better to tell you, he didn't explain

Christian - how are you supposed to tell your family

Me - I'm not

Chris - what?!? you have to!

Me - I'm not because I don't want everybody's sympathy I already had enough.

Chris - but-

Me - promise you'll tell no one especially Kylie.

Chris - fine, promise.

I gave him a small smile, he gave me one too.

Chris - is your cancer serious

Me - they really don't know they're running some tests so in 2 days they are gonna explain what's going to happen.

Christian - I hope it's not serious

Squeezes me hand and kisses it.
