The elder noticed easily how Jungkook spoke with the softest, vulnerable voice, almost like a whisper that wouldn't want anyone else to hear.
"I still remember what I felt while getting higher in the sky each time he pushed, at first it was curiosity...and I actually started enjoying it..however soon I started fearing cause..my dad was using all his force and I was-tightly gripping the handle as it was fast.." his eyebrows knitted upwards in sadness as he remembered how scared he was to have the strength to fall off. "I asked him several times to stop..that I was scared-but he didn't listened..instead he never slowered it.."
"H-how could he..?" Taehyung was genuinely surprised and well mad when he heard a shaky voice and again brushed his hands through the hidden bangs of Jungkook.
"Yeah, but..on a whim it was slowing down..however on its own.." Jungkook muttered, turning around to gaze at Taehyung. "When the swing stopped completely I still couldn't move..I was waiting for my dad to pick me up and..tell me that he didn't mean to be harsh on it and just..." he choked slightly at the end, a fresh batch of tears falling down his cheek. "Instead he..just left me alone in the park full of strangers..I ba-barely made it home and I felt so angry. I was ready..to scold him for leaving me like this but when I got home..My-mom asked me where he-he was..."
His lips wobbled as the tears fell more quickly, he wiped his eyes with the palm of his hand and shook his head lightly, trying his best not to cry anymore, "I was so naive even when he didn't come home for a month..I didn't actually thought he would leave me-and mom.."
Taehyung took in every word Jungkook uttered quietly, watching as his whole body trembled. He hugged his small frame tighter. He didn't have words to comfort..he was lost in what he could say at the moment when his love was breaking down in his embrace and he wasn't able to say anything but only comfort him with his presence.
Even though it mattered to Jungkook a lot more than anyone could have thought of, it urged him to get the hell over with it.
Leaving a shaky breath. Jungkook again continued. "After that..my mom changed-she started smoking cigarettes..at first I found them in the dustbin..but later she didn't cared to hide..same with al-alchols.." and once again he was choking on his words, and the older had to pull him against himself. "One day I had enough..so I confronted her...I really cared for her since she was the only one I had. But for her I was just..a bad decision which ruined her whole life." he finished his sentence with a sad and broken tone.
Taehyung's jaw clenched, no wonder Jungkook never spoke to him about his past..he just couldn't, when he wasn't even sure if he would have been taken without any judgement. The elder didn't blame Jungkook for thinking like this. "Baby, you know it's not true..I'm sorry to say but it..was their fault. They were adults and knew exactly what they were doing.."
