Jungkook eyed the elder for a jiff, before slumped his shoulder "I just told her that there's nothing between us, we are just friends and..there's no reason for to marry anyone-let alone my friend..but she was deemed on saying I was taking revenge on her..and t-that she was only looking after me..fuck, for once I actually belived her..."

"But what did that bastard say?" Taehyung asked worriedly. He knew that this was all too complicated to explain in detail, but nevertheless, he wanted to know.

Jungkook bit his lips, thinking for a moment and looking down. "He..said that-it might be a g-good decision.." he breathed deeply. "I didn't agree..cause there was no reason to-until he confessed-saying he always..liked me.."

Taehyung's jaw tightened, trying to suppress the lump growing in his throat. It pained him to hear Jungkook's voice sound so sad..hurtful, hurt by something that he couldn't comprehend himself.

"And that I should consider myself lucky..he said that we were close..t-that he was the only one..who can-accept me..despite the status of my family.." he paused, not being able to bring himself to continue speaking.

Jungkook closed his eyes. "That night..Robert proposed.." his eyes afraid of meeting the almond ones as he parted his lips to speak further, though Taehyung didn't like it so he gently cupped the younger's chin and made him gaze at him..no matter internally he was fuming. "U-um..after-thinking about it..I had said yes..cause I was also aware that..maybe-I really needed a s-support..and Robert was the only person who knew..everything I had been through.."

"and then..?" Taehyung leaned forward, and softly lingered his lips near the younger's cheek, hoping his touch somehow soothes him. Jungkook took a deep breath.

"He said he would wait for me for two months..and after that we got engaged-there were only his parents and my mom.." Jungkook dazedly continued,
"I thought..maybe it was actually a good decision..my mom socialised with his parents, and had less time to get drunk and all..but only if I knew..."

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked carefully, holding onto his arms.

"Only if I knew..that even Robert was changing after we got engaged..before we used to sleep in different rooms..but then he vocalised that we were almost getting married so it would be okay if we sleep together in his room." he muttered bitterly, shaking his head to rid himself of the memory. He knew he would probably feel guilty about the thought, but it was true he never once thought the situation would turn out that way.

The elder gulped at the information, still keeping his hold on the younger's shoulders.

"He started behaving that we actually got married-cause to him being engaged was the same thing..he started engaging in skinships which to be honest b-bothered me..but even I also thought maybe its normal after all..we were engaged..so it's okay.." Jungkook spoke softly, but he sounded distant. "But I never felt okay..whenever he would try something I would back away..it made me feel guilty at first but soon I realised just like how it wasn't my fault for my parents relationship with eachother..it wasn't my fault my body was never reacting to him..I never forced myself instead started distancing myself from him."
