THE ZODIAC CLASS (a zodiac story)

The final battle Pt.1

Leo's POV

My heaet pounding in my chest like a loud drum, I continued sprinting across the pitch dark hallway as I moved further and further away from the light.

My thighs were aching and the side of my stomach felt as if someone had poked a hole through it, so I sreduced my speed into jogging as I took in quick breaths out of my mouth. Gemini hardly caught upto my pace with Scoprio and Virgo were struggling to catch up.

I looked ahead and observed as Orion tiredly jogged infront of me. And I swear I heard him mumble "I'm too old for this."

"How much-- longer?" Gemini asked still trying to keep a proper pace. "Almost there." Orion assured as he started slowing down due to lack of energy. I bet we have been sprinting for about ten minutes.

Let me explain:

Flashback:

"Hello old friend. About time we saw each other again. Don't you think?" A deep voice said in the darkness. He walked out of the shadows into the light so we could see him. "Was this what you've been upto all those years? Zalga?" Orion narrowed his eyes at the man with glasses as he backed up towards is and placed all of us behind him not breaking eye contact with the enemy.

"I'm offering you one more chance to change your mind." He hissed back. I was directly beind Orion and saw him secretly stick his hand out to me. He opened his fist revealing twelve ear pieces. "Put them on." He whispered to me.

I nodded and grabbed the earpieces out of his hand and tossed it to the others without being noticed. After that, I plugged mine inside my ear.

'hello? Is it working?' Orion's voice rung inside my ear. I looked around in confusion, because Orion was standing right infront of me and from what I can see his mouth is shut. 'dont freak out. We can use this to communicate without oral communication. It's Zodia tech.' Orion's voice said.

'so cool!' piscies' voice squealed.

'I have a plan, listen carefully. Leo, Gemini, Scorpio and Virgo will follow me to find something. Zalga will probably run after us, so Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and Sagittarius will be tasked to cover for us and distract Zalga. Aries, Libra, Cancer and Taurus will deal with his minions. Each task is going to be a rough one but I believe you kids got this.' Orion explained through the earpieces while still staring daggers at Zalga.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

'alright, my team sprint as fast as you can to where I'm going on the count of three. One... Two...     Three.'

The moment I heard the word three, Orion immediately ran to a random corner in the darkness. I sprinted after him with the other three following behind.

"What the?? Come back here you cowards!!" Zalga shouted and grabbed a long metal rod and started running after us. I looked behind me as I continued running and saw him running towards us with rage visible on his face.

But luckily, Aqua flew above him while holding Sag and released her infront of him. She created a huge firewall infront of Zalga so that he can't go any further. Capricorn made a stone wall behind him ensuring that he doesn't run away and Piscies used his water and turned it into sharp ice, he used it to use it as tiny blades and threw them at him pushing him back and pinning him to the wall Cap had created.

"Keep running! It's around here somewhere." Orion said to the four of us. I continued running, not knowing whaylt the hell we're even looking for.

End of Flashback:

"Leo!" Gemini shouted catching upto me. "I have an idea." She continued. I nodded telling her I was listening while trying to keep a steady pace.

"You can like transform into a horse or something and we can all ride on you back!" She suggested making me give her a pissed off expression. "Do I look like Superman to you?" I raised a brow.

"Oh well, looks like the all mighty Leo won't be all mighty Leo anymore. Just Leo " Virgo sighed making me stop. "Wait... You thought I was all mighty?" I raised a brow.

"Used to, now that we know you aren't strong enough to carry all of us." Scorpio sighed as everyone stopped running making my eye twitch.

"What are you kids doing? Come on!" Orion siaf impatiently.

"We're running out of time. If only Leo could..." Gemini was cut off by Virgo. "Forgot about it. There's no way he's strong enough anyways." Virgo shrugged making me burst. "I'LL SHOW YOU HOW STRONG I AM!" I shouted as I shape shifted into a big, caramel coloured horse. "Get on." I told them determined to prove them wrong.

"Ohh, I see." Orion smirked at the others and climbed on my back. It was shockingly not as heavy as I anticipated. Mabye it's because I'm a horse.

Everyone jumped on my back and I started galloping through the darkness confused on where to go.

Suddenly a flashing yellow light appeared at the corner of my eye catching my attention. "Run to the light." Orion said with relief in his voice.I stated galloping towards it and I swear Scorpio almost fell off.

My backs started hurting at the amount of people on my back in not just gonna give up. I have to prove them wrong, I'll show them how strong I am.

The motivational mindset gave me a boost in confidence as I ignored my aching back and just ran faster towards our destination.

The light just got brighter and brighter the closer I got to it until it began to light our path. All the slashed concrete and junk on the corners were suddenly visible. I looked infront of me straight at the light realising that it was a dead end.

"Is this it?" Virgo asked jumping down as the rest followed. When everyone was finally off my back I transformed back into me. My back felt as if a huge weight had been lifter from my shoulders. Literally.

Damn, so this is how a horse feels like. I feel bad for them now.

"It's a dead end." Gemini mumbled in defeat making Orion smile. "Think again." He ran his hands across the wall and pushed a specific place revealing the door as it opened. "Camouflage. Neat." Scoprio awed.

"Come on, it's here somewhere." Orion said walking in.
