He was running after me, I couldn't see his face clearly
Oh no...their faces. They were much, all running after me holding weapons, different types.
Some held cutlass, saw, dagger, Many held gun of different types....but they didn't shoot me
Then I saw him afar, my dad smiling at me, arms open signalling me to hug him.
I shouted but my mouth did not produce any voice, I screamed but I did not hear anything
I looked around me turning around then I ran towards my dad but I could see him no more
He was gone
It would have been better if he had heard my voice, my thoughts, my confession to how much i love him, how much i need him, how much i want to play football with him, how much i want to regain those moments
"Xaiver"
"Xaiver please wake up, ur scaring me" I heard a familiar soothing voice say
I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't.. .
Then I felt a soft lip brush my cheeks
I inhaled,exhaled,and opened my eyes to see Jennie
Her eyes filled with tears
I pulled her closer to my bed then I hugged her drowning in her chocolaty scent feeling relaxed
She hugged me back and then pulled back then she spoke
"A nightmare?"
I nodded my head in approval then she took my hand, surprising me by drawing circles ( an act I do to calm her down) then she smiled
"Jennie, you and I alone in the room on a bed can lead to the formation of a new generation u know?" I smirked and winked at her
Noticing the position we're in, she blushed and jumped off the bed, I instantly felt lonely and eager to hug her back
"I came to give you this" she handed my bracelet to me
" You can keep it, my mum gave it to my dad on his 28th birthday " I said
"Oh urm... isn't it useful " she asked
"Yeah that's why I'm giving it to you...it is said to have the power of taking pain away " I said
Her eyes became puffy and I instantly realized what I said
"Oh I'm sorry.....I just...
"No it's fine" she interrupted and dropped it on my night stand
"Do you have nightmares often?" She asked
"Yeah" I mumbled
She noticed my mood change and she asked another question
"Don't you have a roommate" she asked sitting the bed opposite my bed facing me
"I don't, I told Cassandro that I need no roommate" I said
"Because of your nightmares?" She asked
"Yeah" I mumbled again then I looked at her big blue eyes and said
"Babe..I don't wanna talk about it"
"Oh" she said averting our gaze
I noticed she's quite more shy than before....
"Don't you think it's just right if I know about who you killed and why? I mean.... "She said feeling nervous
"You came in the middle of the night just to give me this?" I asked changing the topic
" I couldn't sleep " she said
"Were you thinking of me?" I asked smirking
"No, I just couldn't sleep " she said blushing so hard
She looks like a tomato...lol she's just so cute
"Because you miss me??" I asked still smirking
"Hey c'mon I'll be going" she said, stood up and ran off
I sat on the bed watching her go , laughing.... feeling better from the nightmares
She somehow have a way of making me feel better.......
