Part 18

Y/N Pov

Over the course of a few days you had noticed Dean was avoiding you a little, of course it go to you slightly but you tried not to let it upset you. You sighed softly as you headed into the kitchen where Dean was sitting on his laptop, you stood behind him and snaked your arms around his waist as you peppered small delicate kisses to the back of his neck, normally he would turn around to sneak in a quick kiss on your lips but that didn't happen, instead he pulled more forward and pretend to crack his back, you pulled back slightly and frowned. You shook your head and leaned down as you kissed his cheek "Deanie?.." You asked softly. Dean grumbled in response which made you pulled back away from him. You stood staring at him while a thousand thoughts rushed through your mind. Did he no longer love you? Is he regretting the baby and apartment?. That's all you could think about and it hurt you quite a lot.

You frowned and grabbed yourself a glass of water and left the kitchen quietly, closing the door behind you so Dean could have his quiet time while he worked on his laptop. You headed upstairs and sat on your bed, you set your glass on your bedside table and sighed before turning on the bedroom tv.

Dean's Pov

Dean sighed softly as soon as you left, he wasn't being cold on purpose no. He was trying to think of the best way to propose to you. He wanted to go all out but he knew how much you enjoyed subtle things, So perhaps he could just propose after dinner. he wiped his sweaty palms on his jeans before pulling out the box from his back pocket. He slowly opened the box which revealed a beautiful silver ring band topped off with the most perfect diamond ever. he smiled softly tracing his fingertips over it before he set it back into his pocket. He slowly stood up shutting down his laptop as he rubbed his face. Who would have know that Dean Winchester was so nervous to ask just one question.

Y/N Pov 

After a few hours of watching some movies you become bored and hungry, You made you way into the kitchen, but you stopped when you got large smell of food hitting your nose. You hummed softly and peeked into the kitchen as you saw Dean setting out the table with his homemade garlic bread, steak and vegetables. the vegetables were only on your plate of course. You smiled softly as he glanced over at you with a small smile. "I'm sorry for being an ass this morning sweetheart, I didn't mean it I was just busy.." He gave an apologetic smile as you nodded softly. "It's okay don't worry." You replied before heading over to the table. You sighed softly before sitting down carefully as you tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear. 

Dean smiled as he set the plates down before he sat in front of you. You both began talking and making sure you both had the same ideas for the baby room and such. After you finished your meal, you were about to stand up but you saw Dean kneel beside you, You furrowed your brows and tilted your head slightly as you looked down at him. Dean let out a shaken breath as he pulled the box from his pocket, he slowly opened it up revealing the beautiful diamond ring. You gasped softly as your hands covered your mouth as Dean smiled.

"Ever since I first laid my eyes on you Y/N, I just knew that you were the one for me, the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.. I can't believe just how far we have come in this life together. We have our own apartment, our own baby on the way.. I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you Y/N.. so.. will you marry me?" Dean smiled, you had a few tears rolling down your face as you nodded "Yes of course I'll marry you Dean!" You smiled as he carefully took your hand slipping the ring perfectly onto your finger. You sniffled softly as he stood up and pulled you into his arms. You wrapped your arms around him holding onto him tightly as you cried happily. 

"I love you Dean, so so much" You whispered as Dean chuckled softly and hummed kissing the top of your head as he continued to hold you in his arms. "I know, I love you too princess, so so much" He replied as you smiled happily in his arms.
