The class left quite swiftly and he stood up from his desk and approached me. It felt electric- our faces were just inches apart, I felt like I could grab onto him and just kiss him right there, but I couldn't. I just couldn't.
"You've been distracted recently I've seen" he said, tracing his finger along the desk next to me, "is there anything you'd like to tell me" he said quietly, looking up. He had a slight grin on his face that just gave me butterflies, I wish I couldn't known what he was thinking.
"Im fine," I said with a slight giggle, I pulled my hair to the right side of my face and looked deep into his eyes. "I'm fine" I repeated, but with almost uncertainty.
"I'm always here for you if you need to talk Charlotte," he smiled.
And just then I could feel his hand getting closer to mine, I could almost feel his body heat touching mine.
"Remember that" he said.
My heart skipped a beat and I looked up and down anxiously. "Well I should go" I said, making my way to the door.
"Oh yeah," he said, "have a good rest of your day", he smiled.
"You too Mr Clark".
