I put down my books , send her in I said excitedly. Ehh I'm not but it's a great opportunity for my art. Cyn laughed girl we gotta go out , what's up with Natasha?? She's still planning weddings, I help out every once in a while but after the last weeding , Cyn stopped me there , Keira you don't have to go on, I remember like it was yesterday. I looked down , well look at you know Kiera, men are going to practically be falling at your feet and you havnt heard from him right ? Nope I replied back, my security then came in interrupting us. Ma'am that interview with Liam is a go, however he requested you be there to interview him not Lacey. I signed , anything for the company, remind him this is strictly business. Cyn sprouted up , I swear this is a sign from god, Liam ! How ? Well it turns out Liam is actually a Doctor from the hood. He apparently struggled his whole life and it's amazing that he became one of the most dependable doctors in town without a High school Diploma. Seriously ? Cyn replied. I grabbed my purse from the office and walked Cyn out. Alright Keira call me when you get home she said hugging me. I hugged her back. I went back upstairs to go into my emergency closet. I was bum rushed my Natasha , Babygirl !!! Cathy called me and told me you were going out with Liam and I wanted to make sure you look hot. I slapped my face lightly and laughed , you guys are so ridiculous , this is a business meeting not a date. Yeah whatever Natasha said dragging me into the closet. She handed me a tight red dress that propped my boobs up and some red heels. She applied some makeup on and took my hair out. I looked at myself in the mirror, a thot , I look like a thot. You don't Natasha said admiring my curves , I don't know why you don't dress like this now you are the CEO here you deserve to dress in bling. Oh hush I'm going to wear it Natasha. Great she said hugging me tightly, call me later and tell me all about your date she said running out. It's not a date I said screaming after her. I then looked at myself in the mirror running my hands over my tiny frame. Ehh I said in my mind , strictly business. I grabbed my keys to my mint green buggy and yes I still drove my buggy and lived in my little condo. I drove to the restaurant and it sure was nice. I grabbed my laptop and my notepad and proceeded into the restaurant. I grabbed the back booth and Soon I saw Liam. He looked amazing , Carmel , 6'1 and sure as hell beautiful as ever. Well hello Miss Kiera. Hello Mr.Liam I said shyly. He sat down admiring me , you look beautiful tonight, thank you I said with a smirk , then we were accomnied by a waiter , what should I get for the lovely couple , oh we aren't a --- two glasses of pink moscato with light lemon please, Liam said cutting me off. In a way it was sexy to have a man order me something. As I was about to start the interview, I heard a familiar voice calling my name. Kiera is that you ? I looked up and it sure as hell was the last person I wanted to see. Hey Justin , Hey Denisse. What's up fam Justin said hitting my shoulder what have you been up to ? I stood there in shock but smiling when Liam scratched his throat , oh exuse me this is Liam. You to dating Denisse said excitedly , no we are just on an interview I said sternly and Liam smiled , soon to be. Haha Justin laughed sarcastically a man with plans he said jokingly. Well it was great seeing you Kiera , we'll have to get with each other later on this week. It was a pleasure said Denisse smiling on his side , I smiled back. I didn't even know how to feel or what exactly to say , but apparently my face just said it all. Liam interrupted my thoughts , ex-boyfriend ? I laughed oh no just a friend. My best friend actually. Didn't seem like that he replied but the interview. Oh yes I said grabbing my pen, So please share with me the wonders of not graduation high school as a black male and being the incredible doctor you are today...

My life has been going downhill. Basketballl is becoming a hobby to me and Denisse, well she's been okay, I can't say our marriage has gotten any closer. Seeing Keira tonight messed my whole head up. Actually that kiss before the weeding messed me up. I didn't know Kiera felt the same way that I did. She had me re thinking my marriage , but then I thought about my pride and I didn't follow my heart. Seeing Kiera sitting there with that blank expression on her face shattered me. I never wanted to hurt her feelings like that again , smh this time is even worse than when I didn't take her to prom. Seeing her tonight made me realize that I missed my bestfriend. Kiera is my everything and she doesn't even know it. I dialed her number, hello ?

Kinda surprised to get a call from Justin this late, I kissed Liam as he pulled me back into another kiss, where are you going baby, just for a walk I said kissing him before grabbing my keys. Be back soon I said leaving. Me and Liam , I know what you all are thinking , why so soon ? Well to be honest if I didn't get any , I would've actually grown cob-webs down there. I laughed at the thought of quoting Cyn , she's always messing with me. I walked to the park and found justin , handsome as ever sitting on the bench. I can't tell you that I didn't think about that day before the wedding, it always played in my mind like a broken record. I shook these thoughts as I approached him. Hey fam, I said with a warm smile , hey Keira he said looking down. I immediately sat next to him, what's happening ? Man everything Keira , Denise is just not vibing the way I thought she was, kinda seems like she's in it for the money and I just don't like that. Has she given you a reason to worry fam ? No , not yet he responded. I signed , I knew exactly what he was talking about, but I wasn't about to talk him out of his marriage. Just give it time I said, time is all you need. Also Keira , I haven't really mentioned this yet but I've been thinking about quitting the team and starting up my own business , maybe a record label of some sort you know? A high smile immediately crossed my face , justin that'll be incredible , I totally think you should go for it, really ? He said in shock. Yes , are you kidding me I said sprouting up, think about all the lives you can change , and besides your voice is amazing, if basketball isn't making you the kind of happy you want , then do what makes you happy. Justin just got up and hugged me, being in his embrace still sent chills up my spine. Keira you always know exactly what to say, I think I'm going to do it. Don't think about it bone head just do it. I then got a call , I looked down to see Liam calling , I quickly answered , yes I will be ready by 8, Okay see you then love. I looked over to see Justin mocking my expression , I quickly nudged him oh shut up. It's amazing how we acted like that kiss never happened , I hate that I have to fight the temptation of wanting him to kiss me again but I fought it. Me and Justin were just friends and that's where things needed to stay.
