You're My Bucky- Little Bucky

The New Apartment

Sam sighed tiredly, walking over and dropping himself onto his apartment's new grey couch.
In front of him AJ and Cass sat on the blue carpet, messing around with their pet hamster that they had brought over. Meanwhile, in the kitchen Sam could hear his sister carefully putting away all of the new food they had gotten to stock their new pantry.

He closed his eyes for a moment or two until he heard the door to the apartment being unlocked. He watched as Bucky sauntered in, carrying a big box in his hands that was labeled Sam's gadgets.
The metal-armed man dropped the box next to the small coffee table in front of the couch that Sam was sitting on, before sliding off his shoes next to the door.

"That's the last of the boxes," Bucky spoke before walking over and taking a seat next to Sam. Sam wrapped a loving arm around Bucky's shoulders in response. He watched as Bucky's body relaxed a bit as he leaning into his caregiver's side.

"Alrighty, well it looks like we're all done here," Sarah spoke up as she walked into the room with a bright smile on her face.
"You sure that's all you two needed help with?"

"Yeah," I think we're all good here," Sam replied, nodding to her sister gratefully.

"I guess it's time for us to get going then," she said. "But first I heard that Cass and AJ wanted to give you two boys something."

"Really?" Sam spoke in slight amusement, looking over at Bucky who's eyes shined with  curiosity.

AJ and Cass stood up, running out of the room and down the apartment hallway for a moment before they returned with two black bags.

"Here," Cass spoke, handing a medium sized black bag to Sam.
"And here you go! Be careful with it " AJ spoke, carefully handing Bucky his own black bag.

Sam wasted no time in digging into his present and throwing the tissue paper aside. His jaw fell open when he pulled out what was inside.

"No way! I thought these things stopped being sold years ago! They're like crazy collectors' items now!"
Sam held up a box full of collectors cards from the 1980s.
"AJ and Cass did a little bit of online searching," Sarah said lightly, laughing at how thrilled her brother was. Sam turned and faced AJ and Cass with a toothy grin. "Thanks so much boys."
"No problem Uncle Sam," Cass giggled.
"Yeah, we love you!" AJ continued.

While Sam was busy gawking at his own present, AJ and Cass were pressing Bucky to open his. Bucky stared down at the blue tissue paper that was covering the contents of the bag with a small smile. It'd been so long since HYDRA and Jeremy and yet he still wasn't used to being given gifts.

At last, he pulled away the tissue paper and was immediately puzzled.

Inside the bag was a gallon sized square tank, a small container of brown, circular food, light blue pebbles, and a little castle. Pulling the glass tank from the bag, Bucky sat it on his lap and looked at it for a moment. Then suddenly, realization hit him.

"W-wait, did you get me a—"
"Yup!" Sarah spoke up, pulling something from behind her back. In her hand she held a clear bag. In that clear bag was a small, yellow beta fish with light green highlights.
Bucky gasped, and Sarah walked over and placed the fish in his open palms.

"Woah, well look at that," Sam spoke, leaning in to look at the fish.
Bucky held onto the bag gently. He didn't want to hurt the fish.

"Thank you," he spoke softly, his eyes trained on his new friend.

"Of course uncle Bucky!" Cass spoke.

"Every little needs a fishy friend," AJ continued.
"What are you gonna name him?"
