"sweetheart its for the best" lexie's mom said from the front seat

"this is what you want not what i want, , everything that mattered to me was back there and we left because all you can think about is money, and your stupid boyfriend"

lexies mom snapped her head and attemped to hit lexie but she luckily ducked in time.

"everything is not about you alexis"

"look who's talking the queen of 'everything is about me'"

"listen to me you little bitch I do not care for this right now, you will smile like nothings wrong and you will be good, do you understand? "

*rolls eyes* "yes Mrs.i bitch alot"

the rest of the car ride there was silent no music nothing but the sound of the air conditioning.

lexie with a faint smile "oh joy"

I had never seen my moms boyfriend before but in sure he was stern and strict, aka hes going to ruin my life.all I knew about the man is that his name was Jake.

"hello girls" jake said with a plesant smile.

I simply noded and walked off, my mom looking at me sternly.

"hello honey"

"so how was the drive here? "

"it was fine kind of long and boring, but we finally reached and cant wait to get settled in, right lexie? "

"yes mom"

jake smiled at me weakly before showing me inside my room was huge, king sized bed, green and turquoise walls, amazing paintings it was perfect.

"thanks jake" I smiled

"no problem, just remember we're a couple doors away if you need anything"

annoyed, "im not 10 you know"

"I know lexie"he said with a laugh"i was just saying"

"oh, im sorry"

"its ok, hurry and change im gonna carry you out, show you around"

"fine whatever"

I bathed and changed, I was reluctant to go anywhere cause I hate being theo new girl, awkward stares, bad talking, it just sucks.

jake owned an estate with a lake in the back and a mini golf course at the side, it was pretty cool but I wasn't impressed of the house, mainly because my old house had all my favorite memories and things that I would never forget like almost setting the kitchen on fire, , trying to make chicken nuggets in the microwave who knew the microwave would catch on fire we didn't. I smiled thinking about all the good times I had.

"lexie, would you like me to take you to the mall?

"sure jake, but dont think this is going to get me to like you"

he chuckled

"dont be a stick in the mud lex"

"since when did u get all normal and cool"
