no way we could have helped

It's been 2 days since we got here and it's quite peaceful. I ended up picking to work as a scout and so did rotxo, spider chose to help out with teaching the kids. We went out on one of the weekly runs and this time neteyam and lo’ak came with. He was on the motorcycle that lo’ak helped him fix, lo’ak was on his as well as me and rotxo where in our truck. “Hey aou? Do you remember what we need to get this week? “ “the mayor said we needed to pick up stuff for the kids like books, toys, and stuff to help them learn, also baby stuff for the toddler that was brought here yesterday”  “heh, ya know sara would be 3 now and lizzy would be 15” rotxo said and he sounded a little upset “your still taking their deaths pretty hard aren't you?” “ it's just that i promised lizzy i would keep her and sara safe but lizzy ended up dying right in front of me and sara died in my arms”  “rotxo, lizzy died on impact from the helicopter crashing and sara died during the winter, you tried your best to help Sara but we didnt have the right medication to help her and there was no way we could have helped lizzy'' i said. We stopped in front of a store and got out of the truck. Neteyam waved to lo’ak who pointed his gun at the door of the store as neteyam threw a rock inside, 4 infected ran towards the door and lo’ak shot them. After that we walked inside and went to the children's section. After we got our bags full we put them in the back of the truck and went back to the town. As soon as we got back, Rotxo went to his house. I kinda told him he should just get some space so I just asked one of the other people to help us bring the stuff in. after we put the stuff away i walked to where kiri was “hey short stack i have a question” “what do you need fish lips” “ can you check on rotxo, he's having a ruff time trying to get over lizzy and saras death”  i asked “ of course, thank you for letting me know” she said as she walked away
