I ran and ran angry of what Ty had just gotten me into. If he had gotten shot I wouldn't give a crap.
I didn't have the time to rest for even a millisecond so I ran faster than ever before.
My lungs throbbed as my feet slammed the ground.
"DAVID FASTER!" I heard Ty yelling from somewhere behind me.
I picked up the pace.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
The bullets bounced off a tree and I heard a scream.
"@$&!"The curses rang out from behind me.
"Ty?" I called.
"Arm, fine!"
As we ran he cursed.
My ears ignored the sounds.
We burst from the woods and took off down the beach.
I glanced to Ty. He was clutching his arm.
"Holy crap man that is worse than you let on," I said. "In here."
We ducked into a bush right before the island turned.
I watched as the men sprinted past.
"It is just a flesh wound Dave," Ty said.
I took off my shirt and wrapped his arm. He ripped off his and wiped his bloody hands on it.
"Geez," I said. "I don't need that shirt back."
I peered out of the bush and started to leave.
Ty pulled me back.
"What?" I asked.
"We need a way off this dang island," he said. "The boat we brought isn't an option!"
"I'll call my dad," I said pulling my phone out.
"Tell him to come to 65 degrees south 44degrees west."
I nodded.
We waited patiently till my dad's boat came into view.
"Woah, why does Ty have that thing. I'm mean your shirt on his arm?" Dad asked.
"Yeah, he got cut on a stick," I said shrugging it off like he hadn't gotten shot.
Dad nodded and we climbed in the boat.
As dad was speeding away I glanced back at the island and saw three dark figures watching us get away.
I used the first aid kit on Dad's boat to bandage his "cut" properly.
Maybe I should back up to before this whole thing started.
